“We had a great stay in Badgers Way.”

The property is light and airy with plenty of space for 2 people including lots of storage space and a large bathroom and shower cubicle and good kitchen space. There's also a large smart TV and WiFi. The property is attached to the owner's home but they were unobtrusive. Sarah seemed very friendly and helpful when we did speak to her. There's also a large smart TV and WiFi. The property is attached to the owner's home but they were unobtrusive. Sarah seemed very friendly and helpful when we did speak to her. We didn't really use the outside space due to the time of year but you might feel very close to their garden sitting out in the summer. We didn't see a lot of the dogs who when we did see them were friendly and not particularly noisy (mind the dog pooh on the driveway - it was cleared up fairly promptly). The property is in a quiet location on the edge of Tintagel (down a little unmade track) but an easy walk to the village (pubs, cafes, shops) / castle / coast path. If you like walking, do go and visit St Nectans Glen and the Rocky Valley. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend.

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and in 2.5 miles is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow and the Camel Estuary are all within a 40-minute drive.

Note: The owners do own pets but make every effort to make the property allergy-free, however, there may be a small chance of transference.
