“Very pleasant and comfortable stay even though the weather was dreadful.”

Lovely log fire very comfortable bed. Only negative is the toilet flush needs adjusting but would certainly return again next year.

Situated in the small coastal village of Bossiney, 0.5 miles from Tintagel in north Cornwall, these cottages are on a smallholding where there are ponies, chickens and fabulous views over fields towards the sea. These attractive Tintagel cottages have been created from the farmhouse and farm buildings and each retains its own privacy, with its own front entrance with garden, and all overlook the paddocks. With a variety of accommodation options these Tintagel cottages sleep up to thirteen people, ideal for family and group gatherings near the Cornish coast. Just a short walk away lies the small beach at Bossiney Cove, ideal for beachcombers, while the great surfing beach at Trebarwith Strand, with its beachside pubs and cafes, lies just a little further. About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
