    “Well equipped spacious house but cleaning left a lot to be desired!”

    For example chairs dirty with food bits on them. Taps smeary and several cobwebs . Property was lacking any useful local information such as details of footpath up to the Square, bus timetables, facilities in St Just, etc. Would also have been nice to have some guidance with TV workings. However overall we enjoyed our stay visiting nearby beaches and relaxing in the comfortable seating in the sunny garden.

    Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the information you have given and can confirm we have had our cleaners thoroughly gone through the house to rectify the issues. With regards to the chairs we have steamed cleaned them and we are organising them to be reupholstered at the end of the season. The information pack has been updated with new information. On warm days, eat outside on the decking in the garden, where you can toast your holiday as St. Just's sun sets.

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
