  • “The Labour Exchange cottage was a real home from home, beautifully presented, cosy and comfortable.”

St Just was a great base for exploring Cornwall. We were sad to leave at the end of our holiday!

The property

Offering an opportunity for a wonderful holiday to this glorious part of Cornwall is the characterful cottage of The Labour Exchange, resting in the centre of St Just.

Situated within striking distance of the coastline, this spacious property is ideal for families seeking a base to call home during their traditional seaside holiday.

Admire the contemporary characteristics of the exterior of this large property, before being welcomed into the characterful sitting room, where a woodburning stove takes centre stage before a plush seating arrangement and a TV.

Joining this space is a dining table, where you and your loved ones can come together to enjoy quality time and to tuck into a home-cooked meal that was prepared within the kitchen.

The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge/freezer, an hob, oven and microwave, as well as a dishwasher to serve as a helping hand.

In here, there is also a washing machine so that you can wash your clothes after a busy day at the beach.

Completing the interior are three well-presented bedrooms, which enjoy a bright and airy decor, as well as space for you to keep your holiday belongings.

Choose to catch your rest in either the double bedroom, the twin bedroom or the bunk bedroom, designed to offer a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the needs of any party make up.

Outside, there is a rear, enclosed garden area, where table and chairs offer an alternative dining option.

Take a short stroll around St Just to find a number of amenities to suit all needs, from eateries, pubs and shops for picking up the essentials.

Drive down to the local beach and soak up the sunshine, or to enjoy the Cornish coast further, walk part of the iconic South West Coastal Path.

Alternatively, enjoy days out exploring nearby attractions such as the Cape Cornwall Golf Club, the Geevor Tin Mine and the Minack Theatre.

About the location

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.

Note: Building work is taking place on an extension at a neighbouring property. Any external work is due to finish by the end of August 2020. This may involve some visual and noise disruption. Please call for further information.
