“The cottage smelt of damp downstairs and the mattresses were very uncomfortable.”

The front door doesn't fit so you have to bang it shut and push hard to open, I wasn't sure if the handle was going to break. The pub in the village only serves alcohol and not food.

Thank you for your feedback and bringing this to our attention. We are sorry you found some issues at the property, but can now confirm that the damp smell you mentioned was caused by some damp logs left in the fireplace that have since been removed. In addition to this the mattresses have all been replaced and all of the doors have been fixed. On a final note, there are two lovely places that serve food in the area, Trengilly Wartha Inn, which is only a 20 min walk away and the Ferry Boat Inn at Helford Passage which is 10 minutes by car.
