The property

Trevean has character and charm in abundance and is just 1 mile from the golden sandy beach at Portreath. A well placed location, this beautiful cottage is on the outskirts of Portreath, the village centres around its harbour and beach and is popular among families.

It has friendly shops and cafes to keep hunger and thirst at bay after a fun time in the sunshine.

A welcoming atmosphere can be found at the pub which is within yards of the property, listen to some live music, make new friends or just sit and enjoy a drink in the beer garden - you really are spoilt for choice.

There is an old mining walk way which is off road and takes you into the village if you didn't want to take the car.

The coastal footpath south to Bassets Cove is a five mile amble there and back with exhilarating cliff top views.

The path to Porthtowan is a four mile trip - a famed surfing beach with golden sands and rolling dunes and is well worth the effort.

Tehidy Country Park is less than a mile away and offers a change of scenery with woodland nature trails, ponds and lakes where you can pony trek or cycle.

A 15 minute drive will take you to picturesque St Agnes, a very popular coastal village with a thriving community, good shops, galleries and four fabulous, unique beaches.

This traditional stone cottage still retains many original features whilst embracing a touch of luxury.

Warm and welcoming with a cosy wood burner in the heart of the home, Trevean is the ideal holiday home to return to after a day of exploring the nearby Atlantic coastline.

The sitting room has a rustic charm and is comfortable and homely with Chesterfield sofas.

The modern kitchen is well equipped for keen cooks with a door out to the stylish conservatory and then on to a super enclosed rear courtyard garden.

Sleep like royalty in the master bedroom with its king size four poster bed, beautiful linens and modern artwork.

The second bedroom is cosy and offers flexibility with bunk beds and a chair bed.

The bright modern bathroom is spotlessly clean and perfect for a relaxing soak.

After a day of adventures, relax and unwind on the deck in the enclosed courtyard garden.

Dine alfresco with an evening tipple or sizzle a steak on the barbecue.
