Our lodge was spacious and clean. We loved the little touches of milk, tea and coffee, the kids loved the cookies! Especially after a long journey it was most welcome. The whole process from booking to leaving was easy and stress free. Thank you for a fab holiday!!

It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. (Other than a few light bulbs!) The park is in a good area for things to do, including Cotehele and Tintagel. Staff on the park were really friendly (Other than the guy in the red Beetle!) We had a lovely time.

Located within the Tamar Valley Resort this reverse-living lodge offers great value accommodation in the small town of Callington, South East Cornwall.
With all the on-site facilities, this is a great choice for a family fun holiday.
Step through the door and you will find three lovely bedrooms on the ground floor.
Upstairs the open plan living area is spacious and bright with plenty of room for the family to eat and socialise together.
Being reverse level it makes the most of the views and as you open the doors and step onto the balcony you will enjoy some good, fresh countryside air.
Tamar Valley Resort is a scenic haven and this villa-style lodge is well placed to explore both Cornwall and Devon with some great local attractions nearby.
The on-site facilities are well equipped for the whole family to enjoy, take a dip in either the indoor or outdoor heated pools or relax while you watch the children in the outdoor play area.
A game of tennis is great for working up an appetite and if cooking isn't part of your plans, then stroll along to the bar/restaurant for your evening meal.
During the school holidays there is a busy programme of entertainment including quiz nights and karaoke and sporting activities such as archery, rock climbing and canoeing.
For those that wish to tour the area, the National Trust property Cotehele, a Tudor house and valley garden estate set above the River Tamar, is just a short drive away, or pack a picnic and explore the historic sites and monuments on the National Parks of Dartmoor or Bodmin Moor.
A day trip to Plymouth is very worthwhile, with its maritime heritage, aquarium and some great shopping.

Callington is a Cornish market town, rich in mining heritage and overlooked by Kit Hill, the highest point in the area, donated to the people of Cornwall by Prince Charles to celebrate the birth of Prince William. From the top of Kit Hill there are fabulous views across south-east Cornwall as far as Plymouth Sound. Callington is set in the heart of the Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and offers a good selection of shops, inns and cafes, as well as being the home of Ginsters Cornish pasties. A few miles away, the quaint village of Calstock clings to the steep banks of the river Tamar and is dominated by the splendid Calstock Railway Viaduct, a giant 11-arched stone construction supporting one of Britain’s most picturesque branch lines running through the Tamar Valley. Other interesting places along the river are Cotehele, a beautiful historic house and gardens owned by the National Trust with a small quay and inn, and Morwhellam Quay, a theme park that staged a living history production for the BBC and where visitors can explore the rich mining heritage and watch blacksmiths, potters and craftsmen at work. The pannier market town of Tavistock is only nine miles from Callington and is well worth a visit on your way to a day’s walk on Dartmoor. A splendid base to explore south Cornwall and West Devon.

Please note: Leisure facilities - Pool & Gym will close from 5pm on 24th December 2018 and re-open at 9am on 27th December 2018. They will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year's Day. Open from 9am to 8pm at all other times over the festive season. Reception & shop will be closed for the same periods.
Opening times for the Bar & Restaurant will be from 5pm to 10pm on Christmas Eve. For Christmas Day lunch at 12pm - 3pm (only if pre-booked). Boxing Day 12 noon until 3pm (no food). New Years Eve 5pm until 1am, New Years party. New Years Day 11am to 3pm for cooked breakfasts only. Open all the other evenings and for Sunday Carvery.
