Lucy “The Farmhouse and the location are beautiful.”
The views are amazing especially on a bright sunny morning. The pool was a big hit with my children and the various walks for the dogs were great.
The views are amazing especially on a bright sunny morning. The pool was a big hit with my children and the various walks for the dogs were great. It’s a real shame this will no longer be a holiday rental.

Richard “Great location and a fabulous property.”
An issue with the boiler was fixed within a couple of hours of reporting it. Even though some of the facilities could not be used given the COVID situation it didn’t detract from the holiday at all. Amazing place for the dogs to explore and go for walks.
- Richard, September 2020Jo “Our 9th visit to the Farmhouse at Helsbury & still the views always wow us.”
Extremely happy that the much awaited broadband is installed. As per government guidelines we could not use the sauna or gym , but we were expecting that to be the case. All being well we hope to return for our 10th visit next year or the following ⭐️
- Jo, September 2020Lucy “The farmhouse is an amazing house to stay in.”
We have been here for two weeks this year because we loved it so much last year. This is our second year here and we will be back again. It is so piece full, relaxing and the pool is amazing. The place is such a dog friendly place. The house and grounds are so clean and well kept. Two big gardens for the dogs to run around and a dog kennel for when you go out. It’s definitely the best place to stay when you come to cornwall
- Lucy, July 2020Emma “The best place we have ever stayed in- beautiful views, amazing house.”
The dogs loved everything about it to.
- Emma, February 2020Neil “We have been using Helsbury Park for the Last 8 years.”
There is nothing else on the market that compares, it’s truly 5 star. Great location with super facilities for 2 legged & 4 legged guests. Looking forward to next time!
- Neil, February 2020James - Joshua “What a fantastic break, the pictures on the website probably doesn't do it justice.”
This is probably the best UK holiday I have been on
- James - Joshua, February 2020Hitesh “We come to the Farmhouse every year.”
Sometimes twice a year and have been doing so for the past 7 years . Great improvement this year , fast broadband , Freesat , upgraded TVs with HD , makes a big difference . Looking forward to our stay in 2020 in March . Grounds and property all excellently maintained , as always .
- Hitesh, November 2019M A “Fabulous holiday cottage, we have a lovely relaxing time every time we stay.”
The pool and sauna is the icing on the cake of a lovely cottage and great dog walks, in a nicely secluded setting. We’ve been coming for years, and every year something is new or improved.
- M A, September 2019Lucy “The cottage was extremely dog friendly!”
The beautiful walks around the property were amazing.
- Lucy, August 2019Terry “One of the reasons we chose the Farmhouse, an Aga was shown on the website pictures.”
When we arrived, an electric cooker had been installed as a replacement. The website therefore is inaccurate and needs updating. It’s a beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone. Fantastic views across the countryside as well as walks on the doorstep for dog walkers. The large enclosed garden is also a bonus.
- Terry, May 2019Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Farmhouse. We replaced the Aga a year or so ago as part of our sustainability strategy, the new electric range is more energy efficient. We will update the photos on the listing shortly. Property Owner
Jo “Visit number 7, views are amazing, grounds & spa fantastic.”
Cottage beautiful, no WiFi as yet, but we always knew that. Hoping we can make it visit 8 next year!
- Jo, May 2019Kerry “LOVE IT! this was our third visit to this property & we will be booking for next year.”
It is simply idyllic
- Kerry, May 2019Spencer “Absolutely stunning.”
Fantastic Destination and everyone of our needs were catered for. Exceeded all expectations. A truly great Christmas!
- Spencer, December 2018Paul “Have always enjoyed HELSBURY PARK, and never found anywhere so clean, given that dogs are so welcome!”
!! Never want to come home! thank you.
- Paul, November 2018Andrew “Fantastic property.”
Dogs loved the land, lovely walks with them every day. Excellent facilities, only negative is that you had to pay to use the sauna. Had a wonderful week there, was so relaxing and much better than we expected. Would highly recommend, If you book this property you will not be disappointed. We are already planning to return.
- Andrew, November 2018Laura “The Farmhouse at Camelford is a truly amazing and unique property.”
For families travelling with their dogs, it couldn’t get any better; with a large enclosed garden at the back and acres and acres of fields (livestock free!), woods and a river to explore at the front! Our dog, Buster, was in his element, being able to safely run free and paddle in the water. For the children, the added bonus of the swimming pool (which is hotel standard) was the perfect way to end a day of exploring Cornwall. The property itself is beautiful, with large thoughtfully laid out rooms, and is very well equipped. The beautiful sun room has the most amazing views over Helsbury Park and the surrounds valley. The location is ideal, set in rural seclusion, but being just minutes from the amenities of Camelford (and it’s fantastic fish and chip shop!). We were so close to many of Cornwall’s beautiful beaches, making days out very easy; Trebarwith Strand being our absolute favourite! Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we’re already planning our return!
- Laura, October 2018Victoria “This is the second time we have stayed at Helsbury and really enjoyed it once again.”
The two things I want to mention where that there is a photo of the kitchen and it shows an aga but this isn't the case and it's now an electronic cooker and also these 3 properties really now need WiFi in the houses not in the shed at the bottom of the garden. For the price you pay I think WiFi is now rightfully or wrongly a basic requirement. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
- Victoria, August 2018Cathie “We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful home surrounded by breathtaking views.”
We had an issue with the electrics and it was dealt with quickly and efficiently without any disruption to our holiday. Facilities were on point, everything had been thought of with regards to equipment, and things in the house. The housekeeper was wonderful and we hope to go back soon.
- Cathie, August 2018Angela “We loved the location and everything about it.”
We have booked to go back next August. I did wonder why we were not allowed to leave our dogs in the house unattended even though we had cages which they could have been left in for a couple of hours. Other than that we thought everything was great.
- Angela, July 2018Giselle “Paradise for our family and four legged friends.”
The enclosed garden was perfect, best of all were the acres of beautiful fields, woods and river, all available for the dogs to run in. The pond was a haven for wild life, we were so sad to leave and have booked again next year!
- Giselle, June 2018Gill “The mattresses were a little hard.”
Check over the window catches and locks so they can be opened more easily and we believe the fridge is being replaced. An idea maybe to put a larger fridge where the pantry is. As usual Andy has made a magnificent job of the gardening and Sue as usual ever helpful. Really love going there
- Gill, May 2018Melanie “This was the most dog friendly property we have ever stayed in, but this did not compromise in any way the 5 star accommodation and cleanliness.”
Absolutely perfect in every way.
- Melanie, May 2018Kerry “All three cottages on this complex are amazing - we love everything about them & have just booked our third visit.”
Properties are beautiful, well equipped & clean , views are stunning whatever the weather - simply stunning we have never seen better
- Kerry, May 2018Simon “Excellent week at the farmhouse.”
Very comfortable cottage in a very relaxing environment. Beautiful swimming pool. Will almost certainly be booking up again.
- Simon, April 2018David “This was the 3rd time we have been to Helsbury Park and i’m Sure we will be re visiting again soon.”
We stayed in the Farmhouse which was great and had plenty of space with great facilities. The swimming pool is excellent which we all used every day. Always amazed how dog friendly Helsbury Park is, so if you are considering bringing your dog this is the place to take them. Only slight downside which I found was a positive, WiFi is non existent in the properties but you can use an office area if you really need it. Overall a great ultra dog friendly property with 5 star facilities
- David, March 2018Rachel “We had a wonderful time.”
We will be back.
- Rachel, February 2018Paul “On previous visits we have very much enjoyed using the massage chair, a little disappointed that this time it was not there!”
Once again however we had a very good holiday HP are to be congratulated on their exceptional high standards, we hope to return next year.
- Paul, December 2017Roger “We had been twice before so knew what to expect.”
This is a taste of luxury and the highlight for us is the swimming pool. With just three families using the facility, even in peak season, you pretty well get the pool to yourself. We will be back.
- Roger, July 2017Michael “Wonderful accommodation and amazing views.”
Could do with wifi in the house.
- Michael, July 2017The property
