“Perfect stay would highly recommend Tregonning Lodge to anyone looking for home away from home whilst exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.”

We stayed here with our one year old baby girl and our three dogs and it was ideal from start to finish. Excellent facilities including doggy paddock right next door and electric vehicle charging which came in very handy. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome and the homemade scones were delicious especially after the long 11 hour journey. Very much enjoyed our stay thanks to Annette & Martyn.

“We stayed for 2 weeks @Tregonning lodge There are 2 holiday villa's, seperate, but next to the owners property.”

The owners are at hand, but only if you want to. The house is fresh and clean and has everything you need. The garden is great for you and your dog. (There are sticks in the hedges, so your dog can t escape). The environment is really quiet. The wifi works both in and outside the property. There s a lot of things to do and see nearby, walks to 2 hilltops. Praa sand beach at 10 minute drive ( for dogs, check when they are allowed) nearest supermarket 10 minute drive. The owners will give you advice, if you ask them. @Annette and Martyn, thank you for the hands on inquiry to see if everything was ok, The lovely and informative chats, the way you made us feel welcome and gave a + to our holiday. Ps i love my shoes!!! :-)

“The Tregonning Lodge just couldn't be better.”

The owners Annette and Martyn go out of their way to make sure there is everything you need for your comfort and nothing you thought you may need is there. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and so bright and airy. What is also really beneficial is the on-site 7KWh E.V. charging point charged at rates much less than the commercial charging locations which saved us so much money on this holiday and not having to find locations where to top up all the time. They offer a lovely safe garden which if you are taking your dog is ideal .Our Cockapoo Bella loved it. There is no charge for taking a dog with you either which makes a nice change. It is equipped with garden furniture and ideal to spend the evening outside just hearing the birds in the trees. It is so peaceful there and you quickly begin to unwind. It is quite difficult to find initially as it is tucked right away but the Sat Nav managed to get us there. We also checked on the street view via Google Maps beforehand to familiarise ourselves with the location. The narrow roads took some negotiating but once you got used to the route it was much easier to find. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will be planning on returning in the future. “Small cottage with everything you need.”

Beautiful quiet setting with the friendly, helpful hosts next door. Fantastic enclosed garden for your dog with the added bonus of a doggy exercise area, complete with toys, just to the side of the cottage. So extremely doggy friendly. The location is ideal for visiting The Lizard, Lands End and everywhere in between! Would definitely recommend for a couple.

“What a gem of a property…Annette’s welcome was so warm 10/10 & her scones are amazing.”

Both her & Martyn were there if anything was required, nothing was a problem. The big black book with all local information in was so helpful (luckily no vets or doctors needed). For my partner & I the garden for the dogs was amazing, & always a big one for us. We timed it that when the people in Goldolphin Barn were in the garden, we stayed in (re-active terrier) then went out when they finished which wasn’t often, our terrier did managed to get into the other garden a couple of times. Location of the cottage is set down the end of a track, very quiet & peaceful. Perfect for exploring Penzance, Helston, Lands End & south west Cornwall. Praa Sands became our local beach & our 2 four legged girls loved it. If your a fish lover then popping into Newlyn for daily fresh fish is a must. We are defiantly going back & next time book both cottages as it will be nice to take my parents there. Anyone booking this place won’t be disappointed, absolutely perfect for 2 adults & 2 dogs

Porthleven 6 miles; Penzance 6.5 miles.

Located inland between Penzance and Praa Sands, Rosudgeon is a small, semirural village set close to the coast of this charming corner of Cornwall. Situated one mile from the popular South West Coast Path, Rosudgeon is an ideal base for walkers, beach lovers, and those wishing to uncover the wealth of Cornwall's historic and artistic heritage. Rosudgeon has a convenient village store and a pub, which is well known for its locally-sourced food, whilst just two miles away is the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, standing proud in the bay.
