“My daughter and I absolutely loved July Cottage and it’s location.”
We were greeted with a warm welcome from the host, fresh flowers on the table and a cream tea. We enjoyed visiting my son at University and family in Falmouth and friends in Truro; runs from the cottage; Porthleven; Loe Bar and food from the Pandora Inn and Mylor Cafe. The log fire and and listening to the owls at night made our stay a perfect mother and daughter get away.

“Really lovely, comfortable and cozy cottage.”
Perfect location for visiting kids at Falmouth University. Charlotte was very welcoming and the tasty treat left for us was a nice touch (scones, jam and clotted cream)!- Mrs Bakewell, October 2019
“Lovely cottage, well equipped.”
It is small but all you need for a holiday. It is set in a lovely friendly village with a pub and 2 stores so plenty of places for food and drink. You are also not a far drive from a couple of supermarkets. As with a lot of Cornwall all the roads to and from are very thin country roads and anyone who is not a comfortable driver would struggle to get about as you were constantly pulling into the hedge sides to try and get by each other. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cottage to others.- Miss Price, October 2019
“The cottage and facilities were excellent every thing had been well thought out.”
Beautifully decorated throughout if there was a item that could be a problem to someone who was elderly would be the bathroom being downstairs. The stairs to the bedrooms are very narrow and steep and accessibility to the toilet can be a problem during the night. Constantine village is very quaint and quirky and everyone we met were very friendly so quiet and peaceful. Our Scottie dog (Bracken) loved it treats on arrival and cream tea for us just a very nice greeting.- Mr Stewart, September 2019
“We totally loved this cottage .”
.so beautifully done out top class standard and very kind hosts.arrived to a Cornwall cream tea and personal welcome. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to stay great access to the lizard peninsula, Falmouth st Ives etc- Mrs Troughton, June 2019
“The cottage was lovely, everything had been thought of.”
Charlotte was there to greet us, as was the delicious cream tea. Charlotte was extremely helpful. Will definitely be going back to July cottage in the not too distant future.- Mr Spencer, April 2019
“Enjoyed a lovely long weekend in July Cottage.”
Beautifully decorated cottage equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A warm welcome from the owner including cream tea, dog treats & milk plus supplies for the wood burner. Ideal location for exploring Cornwall. Pub & shops within the village & we were fortunate to have the farmers market on the Saturday morning...excellent bread, cakes, apple juice & cider!- Mr Scott, April 2019
“July Cottage is a beautiful little property.”
The owner has thought of everything to make your stay there comfortable. So many little extras make you feel as if you are in your own home. There are stores a minute's walk away. We didn't try the pub in Constantine but we did love The Black Swan in Gweek. Constantine is perfect for touring around Cornwall. We so enjoyed our week away and we'd definitely book July Cottage again.- Mrs Warren, March 2019
“The cottage was stocked with many essentials together with all mod cons and really nice extras such as dog treats that went beyond our usual expectations.”
The bed was extremely comfortable and the tiny garden has a charming magnolia tree that was beautiful in Spring flower. We wish July cottage every success and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the house and it's lovely location views that the photos do not do justice to.- Mrs Smedley-brown, March 2019
“The personal touches by Charlotte ,milk ,dog biscuits and flowers etc made us welcome.”- Mr Sell, February 2019
“The cottage was perfect.”
It was made even better by the personal touches - fresh flowers, cream tea, milk in fridge and supply of lots of other essentials. Charlotte was there to welcome us and was on the end of the phone if we needed anything - which we didn't!! The location was great and the views from the cottage were spectacular.- Mrs Baker, January 2019
“A cosy cottage with mod-cons and bags of character.”
The village is a great base for exploring West Cornwall, and has plenty of local amenities (step inside Constantine Stores, you’ll be amazed). A great Christmas break, the cottage looked lovely and festive. Many thanks to the owner.- Mr Millard, December 2018
“July Cottage was very clean and comfortable.”
We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. Booking through Skye's Cottages was quick and easy.- Miss Smith, October 2018

July Cottage is an absolute delight, it is fully equipped, home from home, highly recommend the cottage for a comfortable and cozy stay- Miss Gardner, September 2018
“Great location in friendly village.”
Very relaxing - cottage was first class and Charlotte (owner) was very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to all the lovely coastal villages for beautiful walks both inland and on the coast. Lots of footpaths and easy to walk straight from the cottage with OS map. We are certainly hoping to stay in this lovely part of Cornwall again and cannot think of a better place to stay than July Cottage. Plenty of places to eat locally and although we didn’t try the pub in the village, we did get a takeaway from the lovely Chinese restaurant near Gweek and also the best pasties (and we are Cornish) from Gear Farm near Mawgan - seriously, don’t miss these.- Mrs Yeo, September 2018
“Well together recentl renovated cottage.”
Bedroom two quite tight and beds somewhat squeaky. Good location to get to Helford River, Falmouth or beaches down The Lizard. Great cafés at Potages and Gweek boatyard. Oliver's in Falmouth good for lunches.- Mr Harrison, August 2018
“You ask about Cornish Cottage Holidays, but I have experience of only one cottage.”
July Cottage was absolutely fine in all respects and we enjoyed it very much. I would recommend July Cottage whole heartedly. I would not particularly recommend Cornish Cottage Holidays as an organisation - nothing at all wrong but zero experience of your other offerings.- Mrs Evans, August 2018
This charm-filled cottage is situated in the heart of Constantine, Cornwall, a picturesque village with local amenities and natural scenery.
Couples can come together for a romantic getaway in this unique retreat, or bring the family together for some quality time.
After a long day, the lounge/diner is a wonderful place to return to, somewhere peaceful to settle down with your loved ones, and enjoy the warmth from the magnificent woodburning stove.
Summery accessories and exposed beams create a quirky feel throughout, leading over to a soothing pastel coloured kitchen.
The bedrooms are each thoughtfully presented, the double set-up is elevated by a brass-framed bed, and well-coordinated with bedside lamps.
Alternatively choose the twin room, half panelled in a lovely uplifting tone, with a walk-in shower room completing the retreat to a fashionable standard.
When you are not cosying up inside, why not take in the fresh air on the pretty patio area, a lovely spot to sip a cold drink and take in the one-of-a-kind location?
Famous for its mild climate, this quieter part of Cornwall is admired for its gardens of Trebah, Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Carwinion all within four miles.
Falmouth, with its narrow streets, natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is just 20 minutes by car, while Flambards theme park (8 miles) and Argal Lake with its water sports attractions make memorable days out.
