“The house facilities everything about it was fabulous.”

BUT sykes housekeeper forgot to leave toilet rolls. she left cream and jam but forgot the scones. it didn't matter though because the house was so amazing. the short walk to the village was at least a mile downhill and uphill all the way back. But sadly the house is no longer taking holiday bookings because we most certainly would return.

About the location

CONSTANTINE

Falmouth 9 miles; Truro 14 miles.

A charmingly picturesque country village with a few shops, a pub and a lovely church, set among green rolling meadows and wooded valleys leading down to the beautiful Helford river, just 3 miles away. Famous for its mild climate, this quieter part of Cornwall has the outstanding gardens of Trebah, Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Carwinion all within 4 miles. For nature lovers and those who enjoy boats, the misty reaches of the Helford river meander upstream to Gweek, where the world renowned Seal Sanctuary looks after the region’s many abandoned and injured seals. Falmouth, with its narrow streets, natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is just 20 minutes by car, while Flambards theme park (8 miles) and Argal Lake with its water sports attractions make great days out. The nearby beautiful Lizard Peninsula, with its outstanding beaches and quaint fishing villages dotting the rocky coastline, has the benefit of outstanding scenery, tranquillity and some great walks.
