“Great location, lovely views and well equipped modern accommodation.”

Caretaker was very helpful. Cleaning could be improved, cobwebs, sandy balcony, fluff etc in areas that haste leaves forgotten. Nice to be able to walk to the beach, pub etc and not have to use the car. Would happily recommend.

“This was the 6th holiday in these apartments in the last two years .”

As always the apartment was spotlessly clean and this time we stayed for two weeks which was heaven . Both the handyman and the cleaning team were very friendly . I can’t say anything other than these apartments are perfection .

“Beachview Apartment 5 was a great location with marvellous views and just a stones throw from Crantock village.”

The apartment was spacious, light and airy. The bed was comfortable and the duvet and bed linen very nice and comfortable. There was a welcome pack in the kitchen which was nice. There kitchen was well equipped with very good appliances. The balcony does not get any sun and is rather chilly as a result so we could not sit out there. There was a strange smell in the kitchen/diner/living room which was reminiscent of damp. This did not go away all week and was rather unpleasant. Perhaps the owners could look into this? We would book again.

Two at 5 and one at 7. Both apartments are excellent with beautiful views . Both are spotlessly clean with lovely decor and fixtures . We have already booked three weeks for next year .

“Beautifully clean modern apartment, extremely comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and stunning view from the balcony.”

We were a couple renting, which was ideal, but the lounge was too small, without sufficient sofas for 4 people. Kitchen lacked storage space for food. Bedrooms had no dressing table, stool or mirror to get ready. A hoover would have been useful. However, as a couple would definitely rent again.

“A lovely clean and modern apartment with great views of Crantock Beach and the advantage of being able to walk there in about 10 mins down through the fields.”

However I think the lack of WiFi there along with poor reception was a little disappointing for this day and age. If you stay in flat 5 be aware that it does not get the full sun and can be quite nippy with the wind blowing in. That said, it is a great place to stay for a bit of tranquility and amazing views.

“Just had a brilliant week at 5 Oceanview apartments.”

Cleanliness was excellent and we loved the minimalist layout which is so easy to keep clean . The dog throw for the settee was a thoughtful addition and covers the whole settee . Very good facilities and kitchen equipment . It was so lovely we have booked for September and plan to book several stays next year . And as a bonus the March weather was great .

“Just a bit surprised that there was no Wi-Fi, when everything was so lovely and modern.”

Netflix on the tv but no Wi-Fi to use it seemed strange. Great flat though, love Cornwall in the winter. Flat was spotless and really snug.

Crantock is a small Cornish village, just a short walk from the beach, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast.
