“The only issue was the apartment below had a large American pit bull / bully dog, on our arrival he had been left alone and every time we went up and down the stairs unloading our gear he would bark aggressively behind the door.”

When we saw him peering down at our dog with a fixated stare we then realised the breed. It made us extremely fearful about meeting him on the stairway and we would even check to see if his door was open or if he was around. He was also left unattended on two further occasions and again we heard him barking. The apartment was fantastic but had we known that breed was in the same building we would never have booked. I think it is more than fair to warn other holiday makers whenever they are ...

He was also left unattended on two further occasions and again we heard him barking. The apartment was fantastic but had we known that breed was in the same building we would never have booked. I think it is more than fair to warn other holiday makers whenever they are sharing the same building as this breed, giving them the opportunity to decide if they want to stay at the same time or not. It really was a frightening experience especially when we heard him coming down the stairs with his owner, I very quickly turned and vacated the building and hid around the corner. I know this sounds overly cautious but we are very experienced around dogs and their behaviour so are not easily affected but also due to the size of him and all the horror stories that have been in the news lately please take our comments seriously and look to put something in place for customers.

“Highly recommended - Fabulous apartment and absolutely fantastic location, beautifully fitted out - everything you need (except wi-fi but for us that isn't a problem).”

Lots of good local info provided. The welcome pack was so nice and such good quality (tea, coffee, sugar, soap, biscuits, washing up liquid, tea towels and the most lovely handmade dishcloth and sponge) and you even get a bottle of milk in the fridge. Loved the electronic coded doors so you didn't have to worry about taking key out and about. View from balcony wonderful - great to have that outside space. Our experience of dog friendly accommodation is usually you end up making do and all a bit sub par BUT this apartment is fabulous and you certainly don't feel you are missing out on QUALITY ACCOMDATION - even to the extent of the thoughtfulness of providing dog throws for the sofa. Only slight downside for us were the floors were not that clean (lots of hair and dust in the lounge area stuck to the bottom of the bench and table) and the biggest let down was the shower area the cleaners need to discover mold and mildew cleaner and give the shower and it tiles, etc, a bloomin good spray and soak a few times then it would all be perfect.

“The view from the Beachview apartments cannot be beaten.”

The location (Crantock) cannot be beaten either. The apartment appears to be spotless on arrival, but when we removed the sheets on departure there were stains underneath that shouldn't have been there. Lack of WiFi is ridiculous in 2023. And it is all very spartan minimalist. A few pictures on the walls wouldn't go amiss. But the apartment is very well equipped, and has everything a holidaymaker could wish for, except there is no coffee pod machine.

This is a beautiful one bedroom apartment and it is the second time we have stayed in it . Everything was perfect exactly as the previous visit . We have also stayed in apartment 5 twice last year and will be staying for 3 weeks this year. Absolutely love Beachview

The apartment was very clean with excellent fixtures and fittings . We have already stayed in Apartment 5 which is equally as lovely and we are returning to this one shortly Also we have booked both apartments for next year We are very happy holidaymakers

“We had a fantastic stay in these apartments.”

A few minor niggles at first but once we'd rinsed the kitchen sink, picked up the dry dog food from the bedroom and people got the hang of the allocated parking space all was well. The above minor points were the only negatives and did not detract from what was a fantastic week. The apartment has everything you could need and probably a few things you wouldn't. First class location and facilities with a view to die for. Highly recommended, we will return for sure.

“Beautiful clean apartment.”

Stunning views. Approx 10 mins walk to Crantock beach. The only drawback was the 2 flights of stairs to the apartment, which we were aware of, but difficult with luggage. Would recommend.

“A superb modern apartment, but.”

... It is almost unbelievable that a brand new apartment would not have WiFi today. It was absolutely bitterly freezing cold in the apartment when we arrived with the heating turned off in mid March. Certainly not a warm welcome. We had to sleep fully clothed on the first night and it took at least 36 hours to warm up.

Hi we would like to thank you for all your efforts in making the booking a successful out come from the time we booked to arrival your correspondence on all matters 10/10 in keeping us informed However there was some issues in the cleanness the ceiling had serval cobwebs the toilet seat underneath was not clean and the cutlery sticky We washed all and removed cobwebs I only mention this as you state there is a £150 bond on the way the property is left so this as to be a to way street But we loved the place and none of these were a really issue also they have just start work on the house next door Thank you the owners should be very proud

No WiFi as it was advertised I found it a disappointment but for one week not a problem. I would highly recommend apartment 7 but would say if you have difficulty with stairs then apartment 7 had two flights not good for disabled. But there are apartments on the ground floor . The views from apartment 7 are absolutely outstanding you can see the beach and goose rock the countryside I could go on for ever this apartment is not to be missed five stars from me.

“You really need to understand heat pumps.”

You can't just turn heating off if nobody is in the property. It took three days with it turned up to the max to get temperature passable. If the boiler is supposed to top up - it didn't!!!!

Also in these days WIFI is also essential as many of us need to keep in touch with work family etc. The location of Beachview is excellent a little walk into Crantock village and beach .

“We loved our stay in apartment 7.”

The rooms are minimalistic and spacious with all the high quality modern furniture and equipment needed for our stay. The balcony had a fabulous view over Crantock dunes, sea and west pentire from which we often sat with a glass of wine taking in the views. It’s also great that you have your own numbered parking space and the door entries are key code so no worries about losing a key. The only downside was the lack of WiFi which in today’s modern way of living is a must have, one suggestion would be to have a mirror on or above the dressing table. We had a fantastic time and can’t recommend this apartment more highly and will definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay
