“We spent a wonderful week at Chynoweth over New Year.”

As a family group of 5 adults, 2 children and a dog, we wanted a house where we could spend time relaxing together and Chynoweth was perfect for this. The living space allowed for us to all sit together comfortably with the log burner keeping us cosy or we could spread out around the dining table or breakfast table if we wanted to. The kitchen was extremely well equipped - a real home from home - which made preparing and cooking meals for everyone a breeze. The views are simply breathtaking and are ever changing depending on the weather. The house is ideally located at just a pleasant walk away from the village and the beach. Jessica, the owner, greeted us on arrival and provided us with a welcome pack including a delicious home made cake. She made sure that everything was ok for us, including the timings and temperature of the central heating, and we were confident that she would be on hand if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked a return visit before we had even left!

The property

Chynoweth expresses a combination of contemporary design and functionality, as well as stunning sea views of Crantock Bay and beyond.

Inside the property you will find a spacious layout that is ideal for family living.

Walk into the airy living room, uplifted by light courtesy of the bay window, as well as offering a wood burner to keep you warm during those colder nights.

Defining contemporary living, the modern kitchen comes well equipped with various cooking appliances and a granite worktop.

Sleeping up to eight guests, Chynoweth hosts four, well-furnished bedrooms across two floors.

On the ground floor, there is a super king and twin, both with lovely en-suite facilities.

Guests on the first floor can choose from a king size or super king, with access to a generous family bathroom.

Outside the property there’s a table and chairs that are ideal for eating outside, as well as a large, surrounding lawn section that dogs would love.

It must be noted that the hedges may not deter determined dogs who may be eager to explore beyond.

Due to its central location, you will find that you are never more than a 5-minute walk away from all of Crantock village's facilities, including two pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office and other village attractions.

A short stroll down the country lanes will land you at the superb Crantock Beach, a haven for surfers and beach lovers alike - and its dog friendly too!

Perfect for families or groups of friends, make Chynoweth your next holiday base.
