The property

Nestled in the pretty coastal village of Crantock, in Cornwall, is this superb Grade II listed stone cottage, dating back over 500 years.

The property has been completely renovated inside, mixing the very best of its 500-year history with a stylish and contemporary decor, whilst also having been awarded the accolade of the Visit Britain 5 Star Gold rating.

Great Weston is ideal for large parties such as two families or four couples, boasting enough room for privacy to spend quality time with your loved ones but also offering a spacious living area with a woodburner where everyone can come together in the evenings to relax.

There is an open-plan kitchen/diner, fully-equipped with all the appliances you could need to rustle up delicious meals and a breakfast table to enjoy your morning coffee.

Discover a larger dining area on a mezzanine floor - this is the perfect place for family gatherings over a well-prepared home-cooked meal and a refreshing glass of bubbly.

This property hosts four well-presented bedrooms, all of which are super-king-size and can be made into twin rooms upon request.

Furthermore, with two enclosed gardens it provides a safe place for your dogs and children.

Due to its central location, Great Weston will appeal to those who like to be within a close walking distance from Crantock village's facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall's sporting, leisure and other attractions.

While you're in the area, take a drive towards the thriving seaside town of Newquay for a plethora of tourist attractions, including the Newquay Heritage Archive & Museum, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Pirate's Quest.

Also nearby are several sandy beaches such as Crantock Beach just a short walk away, as well as Fistral Beach and Great Western Beach in Newquay which can be reached by car or bus, all offering opportunities for a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing and sandcastle building.

Crantock itself has a shop for the last-minute essentials and 2 pubs and a tea room.

Newquay provides a larger selection of shops to choose from.

Great Weston Farmhouse makes a delightful stay for all the family, where you can make everlasting memories together on the Cornish coast.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £400.
