The property

Ideally positioned on the fringe of the village of Crantock and a ten minute stroll from the grassy dunes and soft golden sands of Crantock Beach, Guillemot is a newly completed home and a fabulous base for a family stay on the North Coast of Cornwall.

Step inside this lovely new home and into a welcoming light and airy interior.

The hallway with cloak room leads to a soothing and tastefully furnished sitting room, with a jade blue corner settee providing a place to unwind and kick back after lazy beach days or walks along the coastal path.

A smart glossy kitchen diner is flooded with natural light from the patio doors and is equipped with Miele appliances including induction hob, electric oven, washing machine , dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Gather the family around the dining table to plan the day or perch at the kitchen island for a glass of wine whilst the chef of the party rustles up a tasty snack.

Three individual bedrooms offer a versatile arrangement for couples and families, with a king-size master bedroom with spacious en-suite with double walk in shower, a large super-king with zip/link function, that can be split into twin beds and a further double room.

A sleek family bathroom with bath and shower over completes this pristine property.

Outside to the rear, views of the dunes can be glimpsed between the houses, a sunny enclosed back garden is a place for soaking up the coastal setting over morning coffee, or post beach barbecues and drinks with family and friends.

The idyllic village of Crantock is the perfect setting for those who crave a relaxed base.

The picturesque village with thatched pub, coffee shop and soft sandy dunes is just a few miles from the hustle and bustle of the vibrant and neighbouring resort of Newquay and the buzzing and vibrant town of St Agnes.

For lovers of lazy beach days, surf and watersports your choice of beaches is second to none.

Walk through the grassy, wildlife rich sand dunes to Crantock Beach that sits at the mouth of the Gannel estuary, or enjoy the sandy beaches at Holywell Bay where Poldark was filmed.

To the south, the three mile stretch of sandy beaches and rockpools of Perranporth provides endless hours of traditional beach fun, whilst adrenaline seekers head to the surfing paradise of Newquay with its famous Fistral Beach, Watergate Bay and Tolcarne beaches to catch the Atlantic Rollers.

For those looking to explore on foot, the coastal path can be joined a short distance from the house and the two pubs in the village offer an opportunity to quench the thirst after a busy day exploring.

Further along the coast, head to Padstow and dine in style at Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant or Paul Ainsworth’s No 6 and Caffé Rojano. Enjoy the best of both worlds at this wonderful holiday base 9 Halwyn Meadows.
