    “Had a lovely time at a very well equipped house in a lovely rural location, the only negative was the WIFI which did not work at all and is not what you needed when you have children.”

This newly built, high-specification Scandinavian-style timber lodge sits in an idyllic setting above the banks of a gentle stretch of the River Inny, affording scenic views over the water's edge and rolling countryside.

Well placed to explore the North Cornish coastline, the visitor hotspots at Padstow, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Bodmin Moor and the long tracts of sandy beach at Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand and Bude are less than a 30 minute drive.

It is a convenient base to explore and also to relax. Constructed using traditional build techniques which blend with the mellow landscape, the design oozes rustic charm with an English oak frame and Cornish slate roof whilst the interior boasts top brand appliances and quality furnishings.

The south-facing garden is a very special feature, equipped with a stone patio, lawn area and handcrafted slate barbecue, it enables leisurely time to be spent dining alfresco and soaking up the captivating vista.

The open plan living room is a comfortable space for families to congregate with a striking wood burner-style electric fire flanked by plump settees and the free wi-fi, an iPod dock, books and games will be appreciated on wet weather days.

There is a double bedroom and wet room on the ground floor which may suit guests with limited mobility.

Upstairs set beneath the eaves is an attractive master bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom.The site includes a picnic area with small pond and the onsite tennis courts are free for guest use.

St Enodoc Golf Club, one of the finest links golf courses in the south west, is within a short drive along with a family friendly pub/restaurant and supermarket.

The old market town of Camelford is located close to Cornwall's north coast and is ideally situated for exploring the wild country of Bodmin Moor and the high cliffs, hidden coves, fishing villages and surfing beaches that populate this beautiful area. The southwest coastal path is a year round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. The nearest beach to Camelford is Trebarwith Strand which offers both surf for the more adventurous and safe rock pools for the younger members! Truly wonderful and only around five miles away, it is perfect for a day by the sea and is also dog friendly. Nearby Wadebridge has a vibrant shopping centre and the Camel Trail, while Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed and Tintagel can all be reached in less than 30 minutes.
