Chy an Dour is beautifully presented with a contemporary, rustic vibe and guarantees oodles of comfort. The open plan living room has squashy sofas for relaxation after a day at the beach and triple aspect views, a social dining area and a smart kitchen housing all the mod cons. There is a kingsize master ground floor bedroom and wet room suiting guests with limited mobility. A further kingsize and twin bedroom plus family bathroom are under the eaves on the first floor. The garden is enclosed with a good degree of privacy with lawn for children and pets to play. Enjoy blue-sky dining and barbecues on the decking and paved patio - there is plenty of space for tranquil times. Four miles away, Camelford sits in the heart of a walking, touring and cycling backdrop, with shops for provisions and traditional pubs for food and ale. Golfers can tee off at the scenic 18-hole golf course close by or have a game of tennis on-site.
Excellently placed for exploring a variety of attractions and resorts, there is lots to see and do within a 30 minute drive of Chy an Dour. Visit Padstow with harbour, gift shops and galleries or dine at Rick Steins Seafood restaurant. Hop aboard the Black Tor ferry to the exclusive resort of Rock. Stunning Port Isaac is very scenic; buy the catch of the day from the quayside. Explore legendary King Arthur's castle at Tintagel and the rugged landscape at Boscastle. Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath are wonderful beaches for surf and swimming with life guard patrols, or Bossiney Cove for a secret haven. Popular among walkers is the coastal footpath and dramatic Bodmin Moor is on the doorstep.

The old market town of Camelford is located close to Cornwall's north coast and is ideally situated for exploring the wild country of Bodmin Moor and the high cliffs, hidden coves, fishing villages and surfing beaches that populate this beautiful area. The southwest coastal path is a year round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. The nearest beach to Camelford is Trebarwith Strand which offers both surf for the more adventurous and safe rock pools for the younger members! Truly wonderful and only around five miles away, it is perfect for a day by the sea and is also dog friendly. Nearby Wadebridge has a vibrant shopping centre and the Camel Trail, while Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed and Tintagel can all be reached in less than 30 minutes.
