“A Little Peace of Heaven On Earth !”

What a fabulous find, absolutely stunning cottage with everything you needed and more, the attention to detail was perfect. What a fabulous find, absolutely stunning cottage with everything you needed and more, the attention to detail was perfect. It was a lovely surprise and touch to arrive to find complimentary milk, bread & cakes after a long journey. Very stylish and high quality furnishings , the beds were so inviting and comfortable and top quality linen used which makes such a difference, having the choice of firm or soft pillows was very thoughtful and large fluffy towels. I have stayed in many beautiful places but I have to say this has to be the best, a real hidden gem and hard to beat. Added bonus was being able to park outside in the winter but saying that it does have its own parking space just a stones throw away behind the cottage, I had the most peaceful relaxing time and the cottage was so cosy and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Beautiful sunset and sunrises right on your doorstep. Thankyou for sharing this beautiful home. Can not wait to return.

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
