“An Excellent Location for the perfect relaxing peaceful holiday.”
The weather couldn’t have been better. Alan & Molly Lee. And don’t forget Izzie the dog.
“This cottage is a little gem.”
Hidden down a narrow lane it is absolutely beautiful with everything you could need. Ideal for two and our little dog. A lovely walk down to Holywell beach following a stream. Welcome pack with cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated.
“Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage, so peaceful and relaxing, my only regret is that I didn’t book for longer.”
The owner was such a nice bloke, nothing was too much trouble. A well thought out holiday cottage.
“The friendly owners and their willingness to ensure we had a pleasant stay.”
The welcoming gift of a cream tea and Cornish fudge! The luxuriously comfortable king size bed. All basic essentials like washing up liquid , toilet rolls, food bags, dishcloths tea towels etc all provided. This saved a lot of trouble.
“We had the most magical week at Tewennow cottage.”
The location is enchanting, the cottage is homely and the cottage owners welcoming and really helpful. We had the most amazing week and would highly recommend the cottage.
“This is a beautiful cottage in a perfect setting.”
It has everything you could need and so much more. The rear garden is small, private and very pretty with an array of flowers, the front is enclosed with a table and chairs, leading to the porch ,ideal for the sandy boots and towels. The short walk to Holywell beach is amazing, we did this every evening and it was a lovely way to end each day .Our loony lab Theo settled in staight away, having a lovely big blanket helped, which was very kindly there for him. He loved every minute of his first holiday to Cornwall. The cottage is situated idealy for the that feeling of "getting away from it all" Everyone was so friendly and extreemly helpful. We would definitely return.
“Lovely sheltered, sunny terrace at the rear - and the cream tea on arrival was greatly appreciated.”
“The cottage is small and compact but being quiet and rural, it suited us well as a couple.”
Take care of the low internal doorways! The country walk to Holywell Beach is delightful.
“The cottage is small but perfectly formed; well equipped and clean.”
The area is stunning with walks from the front door to Holywell Bay Beach and across the fields in the opposite direction to the delightful Smugglers Den Inn with superb food and drink. We would certainly visit again.
We have had a wonderful week in this cottage. It's very cosy, just the right size for two (and two dogs). There was some lovely welcoming goodies. Very quiet and a short walk to the beautiful beach at Holywell.
“Cottage as described.”
Shower as previously mentioned is not at all efficient but the water pressure can't be helped. It's just one of those things. Owner very friendly and helpful. Cottage clean and in a lovely location. Shame its being withdrawn as a holiday cottage as we enjoyed our stay.
“Cottage beautifully set down a half mile lane from village.”
.quaint cozy cottage with everything you need, we enjoyed the lovely walks that were just on the doorstep especially our dog Milo. Friendly helpful owners and a kind gesture of a welcome pack to greet us on arrival very much appreciated. We would like to return one day..
“Plug socket hanging off wall shower cold then boiling hot smelt damp.”
It was a beautiful area but the cottage needs a little tlc
“We all had a brilliant time; the cottage was perfect; it felt like home from home.”
I was particularly impressed that the owners had clearly given a lot of thought into providing everything we could possibly need. The only very, very small drawback for me was that the shower was not powerful enough. Otherwise awesome, and will definitely be recommending to my friends!!!
