Sitting pretty in fabulous Feock, Blue Cottage is just moments from the beach and serene waters of the Fal River Estuary.
Experience a Swallows and Amazons style break at this homely cottage which is just a few minutes' walk from Loe Beach.
Overlooking the tree lined waters of the Carrick Roads, this pebbly and sandy stretch has a great little cafe offering breakfasts, yummy lunches and ice creams during the summer months.
It is also home to a fantastic watersports centre so bring your wetsuit and learn to sail, windsurf or paddleboard.
If you prefer something more sedate you can hire a kayak, rowing boat or even a power boat and head out to explore the incredible waterways in your own time, stopping off at one of the stunning waterside inns for refreshment along the way!
The Carrick Roads also have a superb network of ferries linking Truro, Falmouth, St Mawes and some smaller villages so leave the car behind and travel by boat.
One ferry departs from the nearby National Trust owned Trelissick Gardens so it is a great excuse to explore them too.
A trip to Falmouth is highly recommended; with sandy beaches, some fabulous restaurants, boutique shops and the Maritime Museum, a day may not be enough.
Tucked away in this pretty village, Blue Cottage offers simple homely accommodation.
Step back in time and experience a very honest and original cottage with quirky layout requiring diligence when negotiating stairs and with limited headroom in some areas.
The snug sitting room has an open fire and there is an oil fired Rayburn (seasonal use) in the dining room keeping the cottage cosy at any time of year.
Upstairs the three bedrooms comprise one with king size bed and two twin (one with 2'6'' beds).
The mature garden at the front of the cottage is perfect for breakfast alfresco or simply relaxing with a good book.
