David “Lovely to visit a cottage where the photographs accurately reflect the property.”
The cottage is very tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Nigel “Exactly as described.”
A charming, comfortable stay in a quiet location, but close to places to visit. Property warm and cosy with modern facilities. Loved it.
- Nigel, November 2021Chris “The place is beautiful!”
!! Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. The beds in the in the main bedroom were so uncomfortable. They definitely need new mattresses. There is a distinct lack of mirrors in the place. Girls would like more. Apart from that it’s a beautiful place and well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.
- Chris, October 2021Thank you for taking the time to return your feedback, which we have taken on board. The mattresses are only two years old, we do appreciate that beds are a matter of preference, so perhaps not the same as you might be used to in your own home. We will look to purchase some wall mirrors. We are glad that you had an enjoyable stay, enjoying both the property and its location, and would love to welcome you back again. Property Owner
Jeannette “Really lovely accommodation in a quiet spot.”
Confirtable and well equipped. We were concerned about parking from the reviews but no problem even though it is shared with neighbours. Property states that it has a garden but when we used what we thought was the back garden we were told it belonged to a neighbour. Just needs clarifying but we just did an extra walk in the evening with our dog. Nice walks from the cottage to Loe beach, Devoran and Trelissick. We had a great week!
- Jeannette, July 2021Matt “It was lovely.”
Note that dog owners should be aware that there is no enclosed garden
- Matt, July 2021Kirsten “The house was extremely clean and finished to a high standard, brilliant location!”
Great holiday
- Kirsten, July 2021Sharon “The Reading Room was so beautifully restored and was a delight to stay in for our holiday.”
The bathrooms were really great with lots of storage. Kitchen had everything that you would need and had good equipment. The only thing that was a surprise, is that there were no recycling, so we had to place all food etc in a black bag.
- Sharon, June 2021Kim “Wonderful setting, much quieter part of Cornwall which was fabulous.”
Fully equipped holiday home with everything you need. Lovely and clean unit. Owner was on hand to answer any questions and came round to help fix the fridge that was not working. Even brought a new fridge over to help us out.
- Kim, May 2021Simon “Fantastic location, great property and the owner was very responsive to any needs.”
People in the village were very friendly. Parking was available for the entire fortnight but we had to park in different spaces outside the property. Would definitely recommend this property and Area.
- Simon, August 2020Colette “The freezer unfortunately stopped working on day 4 of our holiday which meant we had to throw a lot of food away.”
The owner responded quickly and came out with an engineer but he was unable to fix it.
- Colette, July 2020Lee “The house was finished to a high standard and had everything you could possibly need on hand, for example the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, cutlery, crockery, glassware and more.”
It was set in a lovely village and there was a big children's playground across the road which our children loved playing on. Also had super fast broadband provided by a BT fibre optic connection.
