You'll feel at ease the instant you enter this charming property, which features a snug sitting room with exposed wooden beams and a toasty woodburning stove, inviting you to kick off your shoes and unwind with a seat on the plush corner sofa.

Proceed through the home to the open-plan kitchen/diner, which is fitted with an abundance of conveniences, including an electric oven, an induction hob, and even a washing machine for refreshing your holiday attire.

Three bedrooms are located on the first floor, one super king, one double and one bunk, ideal for children's sleepovers.

A contemporary family bathroom is located across the hall, where a delightful soak may be enjoyed at the end of an action-packed day.

Take advantage of your close proximity to the coast and head to the glorious sands of Perranuthnoe Beach, where you can spend lazy afternoons lounging with a good book in hand, or testing your stroke with a splash amongst the waves.

Take a break from cooking and visit one of the two pubs within walking distance.

Choose from the Trevelyan Arms Bar & Restaurant's beer garden or the Crown Inn's home-cooked meals served around an open fire.

Increase your familiarity with your surroundings by travelling to neighbouring Marazion, where you can spend a peaceful afternoon reclining on the golden sands of Mount's Bay or across the causeway at low tide to reach the famed St Michaels Mount castle.

While you're in the neighbourhood, browse the abundance of quirky and independent shops that line the main street for souvenirs, or add a touch of luxury to your stay with a spot of classic Cornish afternoon tea.

For further coastal experiences, hop in the vehicle and head to Penzance, where you can travel back in time with a visit of Penlee House Gallery & Museum, soak up the sun while practising your backstroke in the famed open-air swimming pool, or savour fresh fish and chips along the seafront.

Catch the train from nearby St Erth and spend the day touring the delights of St Ives, with museums and art galleries found in abundance, including the world-renowned Tate St Vies, whilst the pubs, bars and bistros offer a fantastic night on the town.

Make memories that will last a lifetime with a stay at Cherrybrook Cottage.

About the location

Marazion 1.5 miles; Penzance 4 miles; Helston 11 miles.

A typically Cornish country village with picturesque houses, shops and village pubs, Goldsithney is set back from the coast, thus escaping the main tourist rush, yet lying close to all the main attractions. Dominating the area and just 2 miles away is the off shore island castle of St Michael's Mount - reaching it via the causeway when the tide is out is a must. Right on the doorstep there are fabulous beaches, the coastal path (winding its way over the cliff tops) and plenty of sailing and fishing. Visit Penzance, with its slightly bohemian air, the cliff-top theatre at Minack or the stunningly beautiful fishing villages of Marazion and Mousehole - a superb base for exploring beautiful Cornwall.
