“A beautiful and quirky hideaway in the centre of Goldsithney.”

Everything you need is here to enjoy the most treasured memories. A bottle of bubbly on arrival with chocolates too just add an extra special touch. A responsive and caring owner added into the mix makes this a holiday home that ticks all of the boxes.

The property

This unique, architect-designed ‘Hexagon House’ is located in a superb position to visit Cornwall’s best surfing beaches and many well-known tourist spots.

The Hexagon House is about outside living; relaxing in the hot tub, sunbathing on the large sun balcony, or dining alfresco are all possible, offering a real holiday feel.

Inside, the quirky hexagon shaped rooms and tower are contemporarily furnished with an eclectic style, mixing a sleek and a historical colonial feel with beautiful antiques and artworks, creating a sophisticated but fun feel to this holiday house!

Enter through the large oak door into the stylish kitchen/dining room with its soft scandi- green tones and family dining table; the well-equipped kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, oven and hob and washer/drying machine.

The main bedroom has a super-king-size, six-foot-wide antique bed and a wonderful plantation style to it with white shuttered windows and soft seaside colours; there is a 42” internet TV to watch whilst cosying up in bed!

The en-suite bathroom has a stylish bath with chrome claw feet, a shower over, and a fantastic Caribbean style tile mural of palms and tropical birds set in a driftwood tile frame.

Heading upstairs, there is a delightful, hexagon shaped lounge which doubles as a wonderful sunroom with far reaching views; this space also houses a bedroom for the children of your group, with two plush 3-foot wide, single beds on offer.

Open the patio doors to reach the sun terrace, a large outside balcony with further dining furniture, to enjoy a sundowner as the sun sets!

Located a short drive from one of the finest beaches at Perranuthnoe, and from the sweeping Mounts Bay with its long, golden sandy beaches and its wonderful castle on an island called St Micheal’s Mount, this is a must-visit UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Resting in the heart of the historical village of Goldsithney, two great pubs which have large outside eating areas are within walking distance, whilst a short drive will bring you to other fab restaurants and cafés in Perranuthnoe, Marazion and many more!

The Hexagon House is nestled near wonderful beaches including Praa Sands, Hayle’s 3-mile-long shore and the historical fishing villages of St Ives and Porth Leven, all making wonderful days out.

From outside the house you can take a bus to Falmouth or Penzance, stopping at many other interesting places on the way, whilst the house has private, off-road parking, making it easy to tour the region by car.

Enjoy all of this at The Hexagon House.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

About the location

GOLDSITHNEY

Marazion 1.5 miles; Penzance 4 miles; Helston 11 miles.

A typically Cornish country village with picturesque houses, shops and village pubs, Goldsithney is set back from the coast, thus escaping the main tourist rush, yet lying close to all the main attractions. Dominating the area and just 2 miles away is the off shore island castle of St Michael's Mount - reaching it via the causeway when the tide is out is a must. Right on the doorstep there are fabulous beaches, the coastal path (winding its way over the cliff tops) and plenty of sailing and fishing. Visit Penzance, with its slightly bohemian air, the cliff-top theatre at Minack or the stunningly beautiful fishing villages of Marazion and Mousehole - a superb base for exploring beautiful Cornwall.
