“The cottage was beautiful, and the care from the owner could not have been better, St Agnus is the perfect place to explore the rest of Cornwall.”

The property

Cubs Corner, on the outskirts of the village of St Agnes, where exposed beams and stone walls create a welcoming ambience with an open-plan layout consisting of a fully equipped modern kitchen, a warm, comfy sitting area and a convivial dining area set in the sunny bay window.

You might like to sit and enjoy a refreshing drink or relax with a good book while making the most of the small, gravelled seating area, reflecting on the day gone by and planning those to come.

Once the day is done, return to your peaceful double room with en suite shower on the first floor, then stretch out on the luxurious, pillow-top mattress.

A day on the beach is a perfect way to unwind having Trevaunance Cove virtually on the doorstep with Perranporth, Porthtowan and Chapel Porth all within a few miles – sunbathing, sand castles or surfing – the choice is yours.

If you’re looking for something a little more strenuous, the South West coast path would be a superb choice with scenic clifftop walks and some stunning views.

Why not stop and sample some of the delights the beachside restaurants and cafes have to offer?

Should you find yourself in need of some retail therapy, nearby Truro could make for a good day out – a delightful cathedral City with cobbled streets, boasting a cinema, theatre, shops, boutiques and galleries.
