    “Very disappointed.”

When we arrived we parked as directed down the side of the garage to unload our car.The cottage is difficult to find and down a long path which gets slippery in wet weather. We moved our car to go into StAgnes for a meal .On our return we were amazed to find a bollard placed in the centre of the parking space we had used.We realised that this was not the dedicated parking space but even so felt watched and unwelcome for the remainder of our stay.On first view the impression is of a spacious, well ...

When we arrived we parked as directed down the side of the garage to unload our car.The cottage is difficult to find and down a long path which gets slippery in wet weather. We moved our car to go into StAgnes for a meal .On our return we were amazed to find a bollard placed in the centre of the parking space we had used.We realised that this was not the dedicated parking space but even so felt watched and unwelcome for the remainder of our stay.On first view the impression is of a spacious, well equipped property.Look more closely and we became aware of food stains on the sofa and general dirt and dust throughout.Someone needs to seriously address the mould growing in the downstairs shower, both on the grouting and at the bottom of the door. The handle on the toilet was also wobbly and in danger of falling off.Chips on the kitchen doors speak of the very hard life this cottage has.Whilst the en suite upstairs looks modern I found the lack of a door meant that there was no privacy when using the facilities. The television was tempremental, although Sykes did respond quickly to our asking for help over this issue.Kitchen not spacious.A confining narrow galley shape. On a positive note, the bedding and towels were fresh and clean. The complimentry cream tea was also a nice touch.Howy I cannot recommend this property.
