“THE HIDEAWAY IS THE BEST HOLIDAY COTTAGE WE HAVE STAYED IN OVER 20 YEARS HOLIDAYING IN CORNWALL .”
GAIL AND STAN ARE LOVELY WITH A WARM WELCOME 5STAR+ JUST BOOKED FOR NEXT YEAR
“The hosts were very welcoming, the cottage was lovely - well equipped, just right for two people, immaculately clean, with a nice outdoor seating area.”
A good location, with beautiful beaches and places to visit, and places to eat. All in all, it was a perfect holiday, and we want to go again.
“We had a wonderful weeks stay.”
Accommodation had lovely surroundings. The accommodation was well equipped comfortable and clean. We would stay there again.
“We had fantastic weather but best of all was going back to a lovely clean and spacious accommodation, it was lovely and cool.”
There were scones, jam, strawberries, clotted cream, and a packet of shortbread biscuits waiting for us on arrival and tea, coffee and sugar and a pint of milk in the fridge so we didn’t need to go out till the next morning to get anything. There was a lovely decked patio area which caught the morning sun and late afternoon was shaded by lovely trees. Gail and Sam were lovely, on hand if we needed anything but other than that left us alone, we felt so relaxed the moment we walked in to the accommodation with Gail and Sam and were shown around and how stuff worked. Next time we come to Cornwall we will be trying to book here, it’s well placed to explore the whole of Cornwall.
“We found a few bits of equipment lacking in the Hideaway that would have made the holiday let a bit easier to use.”
Have left a note for the owners. Very welcoming hosts
“Fabulous location and accommodation.”
Close to the A30 and wonderful position to tour Cornwall. Our hosts Gail and Tom were very welcoming . The welcoming pack and cream tea was delicious and very much appreciated
“Lovely setting in mature garden with outside table and chairs.”
Unlike some holiday homes which are functional but lack atmosphere, this was a place to come back to and relax in. A home from home with friendly hosts Gail and Sam just next door if you needed them.

A ten-minute drive from Camborne brings you to a wealth of sandy Cornish beaches including Portreath, Gwithian and Porthtowan.
