The property

Boasting almost uninterrupted sea views across beautiful National Trust countryside, Blue Reef Cottage is located between iconic Land's End and much favoured St Ives.

Positioned in Pendeen, this traditional cottage nestles amidst a character terrace and offers homely and cosy accommodation.

The enclosed rear garden with paved patio makes a sunshine spot for outdoor dining, morning coffee and relaxed lunches with ocean vista beyond. The separate sitting room with wood burner, is ideal for relaxation after a day by the sea, especially in the cooler months.

The bright kitchen is well equipped and makes a good space for food gatherings.

The bedrooms have all you need for good slumber and the family bathroom is contemporary and conveniently placed on the ground floor.

There are two great local pubs in the village renowned for good food, local inn is within paces of the cottage.

Drop in after an adventure to the dramatic Cape Cornwall coastline at St Just, Portheras Cove or Sennen Cove, where surfing is almost guaranteed.

Nearby St Just has a pretty market square with shops for provisions.

Pendeen itself host a wealth of Cornish mining history, the landscape punctuated by classic Cornish engine houses, and headframe of the popular Geevor tourist tin mine, and daytime restaurant.

The nearby Levant Mine and beam engine sit on the edge of a most spectacular stretch of the British coastline. In the district, much loved Marazion and St Michael's Mount is a must-see landmark attraction.

The quay at St Ives is picturesque with beaches, galleries and gift shops, plus a myriad of waterfront restaurants, eateries and traditional inns offering local produce. Blue Reef Cottage is the perfect base for families, friends and couples seeking a peaceful holiday homestay close to the coast and coastal path.

The charming village of Pendeen is situated on the Penwith Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty, in North West Cornwall. It has a handful of lovely pubs, convenience stores, pottery/gallery . There is also a wonderful lighthouse tucked away from the centre of the village, where you can marvel at the most spectacular sea views, stretching for miles. Perfect for exploring this lesser-known area of the county, there are so many fantastic things to see and do; from exploring the rugged coastline to pulling on your walking boots and criss-crossing the beautiful countryside, with public footpaths at every turn! The beaches in this section of Cornwall are fantastic and there are so many coastal villages and attractions that will keep you busy. Enjoy shopping in Penzance, discover hidden gems in St Ives' many harbour-front galleries, or find the perfect trinkets to take home in the novelty shops of Mousehole. The open-air Minack Theatre overlooking the stunning beach at Porthcurno should definitely go on the 'to visit' list, and you can also enjoy visiting the many filming locations of the BBC's, Poldark.
