The perfect setting for a couple looking to escape the hustle and bustle, The Moonbeach Cabin enjoys access to a range of The Roseland Heritage Coast's sights, along with being within reach of some of Cornwall's iconic towns.

Upon entering the cabin, you'll be pleased to uncover an open-plan living space where everything you need for a self-catering getaway can be found at your fingertips.

Cosy up on the sofa with your partner after a day packed with fun and switch on the TV to enjoy your favourite movie.

After relaxing together, progress to the galley kitchen to uncover a selection of appliances to create mouthwatering meals with.

These meals can be enjoyed as a romantic meal for two at the dining table; why not open a bottle of fizz and make a toast to this blissful break?

As the day winds to a close, freshen up in the well-presented shower room before retiring to the double bedroom; the sofa in the sitting area can also be opened out to become a bed, for added flexibility.

On sunny days, be sure to sit out on the patio and savour a cold beverage as you soak up the sea breeze, before wandering down to the lovely beach to savour an afternoon packed with sunbathing and watersports!

When you want to take a break from cooking, be sure to visit one of Gorran Haven's eateries, including a fantastic fish & chips shop, along with a welcoming pub, The Barley Sheaf, where you can enjoy wholesome meals and local ale.

Travel to Mevagissey for a lovely day out, where Mevagissey Museum and Mevagissey Aqaurium are bound to entertain you, whilst the harbour is an idyllic place to unwind as you watch the boats bob along the coast.

Why not spend the day in St Austell, a charming town boasting access to The Cornwall Hotel & Spa, if you'd like to spend the day getting pampered, the Wheal Martyn Clay Works, if you want to explore the local history, and the Eden Project, where you can explore breathtaking biomes.

Hike along the South West Coast Path to come across more seaside escapades nearby; alternatively, why not visit Truro, Bodmin or Newquay, where even more attractions can be found?

A marvellous stay for two awaits at The Moonbeach Cabin.

About the location

GORRAN HAVEN

Mevagissey 3 miles.

Once a crab fishing village, Gorran Haven on the south coast of Cornwall is ideally placed to explore the many beaches and coves in the area. Gorran Haven has a small sandy beach set behind a traditional sea wall, connecting with the longer Great Perhaver beach at low tide and is popular with families. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is readily accessible from the South West Coast Path that passes through Gorran Haven. Within walking distance are a number of more isolated beaches and the 370 feet high Dodman Point, rising above Gorran, which is thought to be one of Cornwall’s most dramatic headlands, and the cause of many a shipwreck. From its gorse-covered heights there are views across Veryan Bay to the west and Vault Beach to the east. Alternatively, you may wish to walk the coastal path to the harbour village of Mevagissey. Near Gorran Haven, in a beautiful setting of woodland, stream and pasture, is Caerhays Castle, an informal 60-acre garden on the coast near Porthluney Cove. Nearby attractions are the wonderful Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum and the cathedral town of Truro, with an excellent range of quality shopping and dining.
