The property

Defining comfort and relaxation is 7 Lake View.

Situated in the beautiful Stonerush Lakes Resort, two miles from Lanreath, the lodge is well-positioned for touring the pretty villages and golden stretches of the South East Coast.

Possessing a spacious layout with the added bonus of a private terrace, the lodge is a welcoming accommodation for families, friends and couples alike.

Wander into the open living room, uplifted by natural light, this area is a comfortable environment made up of the cosy sitting area, high-spec kitchen and elegant dining table.

Continue your way around the property to find the two well-appointed bedrooms with the master boasting a lavish king-size bed plus the convenience of an en-suite shower room.

The twin can be found across the hallway along with the sparkling family bathroom.

The delightful balcony terrace allows you to really make the most of this idyllic setting, with views over the lake that can be best absorbed from the luxurious hot tub.

There is also the welcome addition of a furniture setup with table, chairs and parasol should the idea of some alfresco dining appeal to you.

Guests staying at the park are also treated to the on-site restaurant and bar if you fancy escaping a night of cooking.

The small villages of Lanreath and Pelynt are close by but limited in amenities so a trip to Looe, Polperro or Fowey is recommended.

These splendid resorts offer a range of village attractions and even golden beaches in some areas.

Venture North and you’ll find the enchanting villages of Bodmin, Likeard and Lostwithiel.

A magnificent base in a stunning location.

About the location

Pelynt 2 miles; Looe 5 miles; Polperro 6 miles.

Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. Polperro is a little further away and is a historic fishing village nestling at the head of a long valley leading down to the sea. With plenty of areas to visit, Lanreath is a quiet, pleasant place offering easy access to the coast, the moors, National Trust properties and Cornwall's famous gardens.
