  • “No 7 streamsude is in such an idyllic setting.”

Amongst the trees with stream running underneath and a view of a hill full of sheep who come down to drink from the stream. Facilities all very good way above standard and very clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Very private especially for hot tub. Comfy sofas. Mattress might need to be renewed soon. However this is a really lovely lovely lodge and would go back in a heartbeat.

Perfectly situated for a romantic getaway on the stunning 28 acres Stonerush Lakes Resort is this beautiful one bedroom lodge.

Nestled in amongst the trees, the lodge holds a contemporary style within a spacious, open plan layout that makes for an overall delightful accommodation.

The bright and airy living room is made up of a comfortable sitting area with TV and plush sofas that are arranged to allow for views into the woodland, a well equipped kitchen complete with modern appliances and a fine dining table.

Additionally, the room has been designed with floor to ceiling windows, allowing light to stream in, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Navigate beyond this homely layout to uncover the beautiful master suite, finished with a four poster double bed, TV and the lavish en-suite shower room.

There is also the added bonus of having direct access onto the terrace from here.

The sparkling final bathroom rounds off the interior.

One of the highlights of this property must be the private terrace that surrounds the lodge where you can enjoy some alfresco dining while enjoying the peace of your surroundings.

About the location

LANREATH

Pelynt 2 miles; Looe 5 miles; Polperro 6 miles.

Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. Polperro is a little further away and is a historic fishing village nestling at the head of a long valley leading down to the sea. With plenty of areas to visit, Lanreath is a quiet, pleasant place offering easy access to the coast, the moors, National Trust properties and Cornwall's famous gardens.
