“Ty Byrn was a fantastic base for our holiday in Cornwall!”

The house itself was comfortable, very clean and a great haven to return to away from tourist gatherings ( being well situated a short walk up the road from shops, cafes etc) The views from the house really made the stay. The house itself was comfortable, very clean and a great haven to return to away from tourist gatherings ( being well situated a short walk up the road from shops, cafes etc) The views from the house really made the stay. A Mediterranean - like view of St Michaels Mount and the sea from the patio and kitchen/diner and from the first floor double bedroom ( and balcony) a view of the sea and coastline to the east. Lovely to wake up to and great for star gazing! We also enjoyed eating meals al fresco on the patio. The house was well equipped, lovely fresh uncluttered interiors, comfortable beds and fantastic showers. Convenient also to have washing machine and tumble dryer. We didn’t light the log burner but it would have been a nice touch had it been colder. Parking was a short, slightly uphill walk from the house in a designated garage which meant unloading/loading needed a little bit of thought, but didn’t bother us. We managed to pull in by the Fire Engine Inn at the start and end of our stay to help with this. Just to mention garage was a bit narrow for our car ( a family MPV) but driver exited through the boot when parking - so again no big deal! Marazion itself was a beautiful location and convenient to visit lots of attractions in that part of Cornwall ( Minack Theatre, Landsend, etc and of course St Michaels Mount on the doorstep!) Would definitely stay again at Ty Byrn!
