“Apartment is in a handy location, walking distance to Charlestown and a few minutes drive to Asda, Tesco, Lidl or Aldi.”

The apartment has plenty of space and the kitchen/ lounge area was bright and comfortable . Overall the apartment was clean and well maintained but big cobwebs on the ceilings and tops of furniture and units were definitely not done for a while.I think that was mentioned in a recent review in February, alas if I had read it sooner I would have realised the washing machine wasn’t working. I did send a text asking how to switch it on but didn’t get a response, but then when I saw that review ...

I did send a text asking how to switch it on but didn’t get a response, but then when I saw that review and didn’t try again also as we didn’t require the DVD player I can’t say if that was working or not. Regarding the other reviews we didn’t cook much but the kitchen had the basics to cook with, let’s say you might not be able to bake a cake but you can certainly put a roast dinner together if needed. Personal choice, but again reading earlier reviews about the double bed being soft etc. We would agree it was way too soft to be considered comfortable as we are used to a very firm bed but this is again is our personal choice.
