“Driftwood was a beautiful holiday home, in an ideal location, close to the beach and town.”

“The house was very well equipped and in a great location.”
The milk, tea, wine etc was a nice touch as were the robes.
“Absolutely wonderful stay at Driftwood.”
We have had several holidays in similar accommodation, but Driftwood really stood out as it was so well-equipped. Plenty of cutlery, kitchen items, a decent coffee machine, plenty of towels, robes and basics (loo roll in all bathrooms plus spare). It may sound silly but we have stayed in places where the price has been similar but there were very minimal provisions- it makes such a difference to have everything available. Our daughter very much appreciated the copy of 'Frozen' amongst the dvd's too! Everywhere was lovely and clean, bright, airy and modern. We had both cosy nights in as well as evenings with wine, BBQ and firepit. Such a relaxing stay, our little pug was equally as chilled! We just loved it, and should we plan another visit to Newquay or nearby, would look to re-book this lovely house. Many thanks to the owners for providing such a fabulous holiday home.
“Great location and excellent facilities in the property”
“Lovely well equipped cottage.”
Super location for visiting the area. Great beaches within walking distance. Shops , pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Had lovely weather too, always a bonus.
“Driftwood was in a perfect location for our holiday.”
A few mins walk from Lusty Glaze, and not far from Newquay town centre. The house itself was good for the week we were there. Having the open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area was really nice as it meant the family were together all the time. Rooms were fairly spacious. There were just a few things that could have been nicer. The double bed (not in the ensuite room) was quite small, my husbands feet were dangling over the edge! The house wasn't that clean when we went in, this was reported shortly after and we felt better after giving in a hoover ourselves. The grass definitely needed cutting as we had 2 dogs which made it hard to see where they may have messed, however, I appreciate that the lack of mowing may be due to weather conditions. The BBQ hadn't been cleaned in I don't know how long. So, the garden wasn't the best should we have decided to sit out there which we didn't for these reasons. There was also no washing line, so no where to hang anything. Saying all that though, we would actually return, it's just those few things that could have made the stay better.
“The accomadation was top class absolutely beautiful home from home .”
You didnt want for anything and the beach right on your door step what more could you ask for .
“Our holiday cottage had everything we needed and more, including many of the extra things you often have to buy - such as oils, sauces, paper goods and cleaning materials etc.”
The location, so close to the beaches and bays, was also perfect for us. More than our fair share of sunshine was just the icing on the cake.
“There was building work going on all week - we couldn’t get into the cottage ...”
There was building work going on all week - we couldn’t get into the cottage on arrival as the cleaner was there so had to go out for an hour to wait for her to finish
