  • Mr Bradley

“Lovely property with comfortable bed in a pleasant setting.”

Disappointed that there was no hot water for showers on the first evening, also that it was advertised with Wifi but there were no details of it in the cottage. Apart from those two points it was an excellent place to stay.

The property

With a southerly aspect overlooking a pretty communal garden at the rear is Charleston Cottage, a two bedroom mid terrace property.

French windows from the open plan living area give access to a patio garden with a picnic table and barbecue for summer dining.

Back inside the living space has a continental vibe and there are a number of books and games to keep guests entertained.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double and a single with a pull out bed plus a family bathroom.

There is one allocated parking space plus visitor parking nearby.

Enjoying the south west aspect of the village, Charleston Cottage benefits from easy access to the coastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove.

Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the private terrace.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us. The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages.

Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth.

With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area, Jacuzzi and an indoor splash pool (seasonal opening hours).
