With a southerly aspect overlooking a pretty communal garden at the rear is Charleston Cottage, a two bedroom mid terrace property. French windows from the open plan living area give access to a patio garden with a picnic table and barbecue for summer dining. Back inside the living space has a continental vibe and there are a number of books and games to keep guests entertained. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a double and a single with a pull out bed plus a family bathroom. There is one allocated parking space plus visitor parking nearby.
Enjoying the south west aspect of the village, Charleston Cottage benefits from easy access to the coastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove. Walking to the beach from your cottage will take approximately twenty minutes fairly level walk along a lane or through the fields, making it easy to leave the car behind for the day. Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the private terrace.
Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth cove, up across the spectacular coastal footpath toward Swanpool and then back up through the pretty lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to appreciate all that this special location has to offer. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River. The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us.
