The property

This delightful, mid-terraced cottage lies on the popular Maen Valley Holiday Park, within the hamlet of Goldenbank, close to the hustle and bustle of Falmouth.

With Maenporth Beach within walking distance, plus the benefit an on-site pool and Jacuzzi, Gew provides a desirable base for families to enjoy, whatever time of year.

After a day at the beach, ease into your evening within the open plan living room, furnished with ample seating so you can all gather to watch a favourite film, or on a warm evening throw open the French doors to access the decking, where you can sit back with a glass of wine and listen to the river flow by.

Just a few steps away, a well-equipped kitchen hosting all the necessary appliances awaits you, including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge.

As you tire, climb to the first floor and choose between the double or twin bedroom, served by a bathroom with bath and shower over, providing a lovely space to prepare for the day.

There is also an allocated parking space, but with so much on your doorstep, you’ll hardly need the car!

Just paces away is a private footpath with leads onto coastal trails and the beautiful Maenporth Cove.

On-site there is a splash pool where the kids can play whilst you enjoy a soothing session in the jacuzzi.

Set about your days with a relaxing stroll to the heart of Falmouth, where you can discover attractions for all the family, including the National Maritime Museum, St Mawes Ferry and Malborough House, or continue along to Pendennis Point for spectacular views across the sea and a captivating tour of Pendennis Castle.

Grab a bite to eat at a beachside café or book dinner at one of the fine restaurants in the town.

Take in the sunshine from Gyllyngvase Beach and Swanpool Beach, building sandcastles and eat icecream, or get to know your surroundings better by venturing along the South West Coast Path to Maenporth and Durgan where you will discover the National Trust owned Glendurgan Garden and the subtropical landscapes of Trebah Gardens.

With plenty to fill your holiday itinerary, consider Gew for your next Cornish getaway.
