“This is actually one of the nicest of the cottages in Maenporth’s Pendra Loweth village.”

It has three bedrooms, an ensuite, upstairs bathroom AND downstairs WC. The brook running beside it is lovely and you can hear the water flowing from the main bedroom window which is restful. It’s so walkable to and well-located for all local beaches. ...

It has three bedrooms, an ensuite, upstairs bathroom AND downstairs WC. The brook running beside it is lovely and you can hear the water flowing from the main bedroom window which is restful. It’s so walkable to and well-located for all local beaches. The house is very comfortable and stylish and seems to have been recently refurbished. Everything we needed was there in the cupboards. A little garden at the back was great for running around with our puppy but we had to be careful because it was not closed in. Parking was easy and there was additional parking by the tennis court car park next door. The bar facilities were nice. The grounds are always very well tended. Our only inconvenience was having a tiny fridge with a very small freezer area – insufficient for a three bedroomed house especially during Covid, do we had to constantly be shopping. A full-size fridge freezer would really be better, & there is plenty of space for it in the kitchen. The cleaning was quite good although my son found upstairs triggered his asthma so we kept hoovering. Overall, we had no concerns - we could request clean bedding and a clean every Saturday. We stayed a total of four weeks as we liked the place so much. At the very beginning of the 4 week trip we had a lovely greeting basket of goodies of wine, tea and coffee.

The property

A must for tennis or dog lovers, placed carefully within this well tendered residence, this lovely property has open views and a gentle stream passing at the edge of the terrace.

Heather's Cottage has been furnished with attention to detail in a Parisian style.

The accommodation offers a lovely open plan living space with an added feature of a faux wood burner.

Sunshine arrives on the south facing terrace for morning breakfast and through the day.

There are two double bedrooms - one with en-suite shower room - and a twin room all themed with a romantic touch.

The kids can also enjoy the ball courts with football, netball, basketball and volley ball options.

There is a parking space very close and visitor parking nearby.

Enjoying the south west aspect of the village, Heather's Cottage benefits from easy access to the coastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove.

Walking to the beach from your cottage will take approximately fifteen minutes, making it easy to leave the car behind for the day.

Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the private terrace.

Those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the Splash Pool or a work out in the Gym.

Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth Cove, up across the spectacular coastal footpath toward Swanpool and then back up through the pretty lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to appreciate all that this special location has to offer.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us. The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages.

Situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, Falmouth.

With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool (seasonal opening hours).
