The house was clean and tidy and the facilities were excellent. the location of the premises was ideal and when we read the guest book all the previous comments had been acted on 10/10.

.....First impressions wasn't good. When we arrived and had a look around we could see that it hadn't been cleaned very well, there was A stain up the curtain to the patio windows where some dog had peed, the windows hadn't been cleaned,there was a stain on one of the blue cushions, by the way all the cushions had seen better days,I put them in the cupboard out of the way.there was still dog hairs in the cushion and on the settee.( my two are none moulding dogs).It definatly needs up dating with some of the furniture ie( two single chairs) I had to vacum when we arrived and it didn't look as if the floor had been mopped.The rug was awfully stained and needs throwing out.They had clean all the stainless steel in kitchen with a wet cloth and hadn't dried it,which on first impression was not nice and the microwave was all rusty on the outside.Garden could do with a bit of tlc.All plants dead in pots,brambles hanging over patio, I had to go and rescue my one dog who got caught up in it,I did cut some of it back but couldn't let them go out there without constantly watching them. Positives...liked the kitchen very well equipt, and also like the upstairs. On the whole it's a very nice cottage.

When we went in after they left we found that the toilet in the en-suite had been used not just for passing water! This we flushed and cleaned.The seat was also broken. When we looked into the garden area there was at least 12 lots of dogs mess, again we cleaned this ourselves. In the lounge area we had need to move the sofa(to retrieve our dogs toy) only to find crisp packets and an awful lot of dirt! We contacted your office to report these things along with telling them of two broken chairs and a broken lock on the door of the downstairs w.c. these two things were later rectified by the maintenance man. When I was later called by your office I informed them that I was not happy with the issues regarding the cleaning as I objected to the fact that I had paid extra for taking our 3 dogs(presuming that this was for extra cleaning) when it was obvious that the cleaning company had failed to clean after humans! In my opinion I think that I am entitled to some compensation for this. Looking forward to hearing your coments regarding this.

Everything was perfect, from the well equipped kitchen, the very comfy beds, the fabulous showers and the luxurious towels provided. Mobile phone coverage a little patchy but not a problem really - I felt really relaxed and detached from real life! I had about of a problem with some minor damage my dog had caused but Sykes were really helpful and reassuring, and resolved the matter within a couple of hours. We will definitely try and return next year.

Unusual for a 2 bedroom cottage at Pendra Loweth, the accommodation includes an en-suite shower room, three WC's and is larger than the norm.
The open plan living room is furnished with practical plump leather settees and the kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher.
There is allocated parking for one car plus visitor parking. On the south side of the Village, set along the stream which runs the length of the grounds you will you will find Stream Side.
The sound of the stream as it winds its way toward the cove will ease you into your holiday, children can play Pooh Sticks on the ornate wooden bridge while you relax on your patio.
As with all of the cottages, you are just a short walk from the Village amenities including the Splash Pool and Gym.
Benefiting from the afternoon sun, the Village terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy refreshments.
The Village of Gardens is equidistant between Maenporth and Swanpool beaches.
Everyone loves Swanpool for the cafe, sand and swimming while Maenporth is perhaps a little more relaxed but equally as special; both offer fantastic restaurants and sandy shores so you really are spoilt for choice. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.
Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the river towards Truro.
