Perched beside the stream with a sunny south westerly outlook is Tanglewood, a beautifully presented three bedroom cottage. Inside the spacious open plan living accommodation has been tastefully furnished in warm tones to make this a great year round destination. French windows open to an enclosed south west facing deck on the edge of the stream, which is perfect for alfresco meals. The kitchen is well equipped with upgraded appliances including a full size dishwasher plus a fridge freezer and halogen hob. Upstairs the master bedroom has a lovely en-suite shower room and two of the three bedrooms are equipped with televisions. There is allocated parking for one car plus visitor parking.
You will find Tanglewood on the south side of the Village, set along the stream which runs the length of the grounds. The sound of the stream as it winds its way toward the cove will ease you into your holiday, children can play Pooh Sticks on the ornate wooden bridge while you relax on your decked terrace. As with all of the cottages, you are just a short walk from the Splash Pool and Gym. Benefitting from the afternoon sun, the Village terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy refreshments. The Village of Gardens is equidistant between Maenporth and Swanpool beaches. Everyone loves Swanpool for the cafe, sand and swimming while Maenporth is perhaps a little more relaxed but equally as special; both offer fantastic restaurants and sandy shores so you really are spoilt for choice.
North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River. The Cornish Cottage Holidays team is always on hand to advise you on the area and to help you plan your stay with us.
