The property

Resting in the riverside village of Malpas and the county of Cornwall lies this traditional cottage, 4 Trenhaile Terrace.

Offering a picturesque base, the cottage sleeps up to three adults, or two adults and two children, and is pet-friendly, ideal for a small family or group of friends.

With roadside parking and ample outside space, take in the beautiful views of Truro River as you make the most of the raised terraced seating area and summerhouse.

Heading into the traditionally styled living/dining room, relax and unwind in front of the woodburning stove after a day of exploring local attractions and coastal scenes.

Travel through to the kitchen, providing all essential appliances and utilities to make yourself at home and reset ready for another day of exploration.

Moving upstairs, you'll arrive to a double bedroom and a single bunk room, along with a family bathroom and storage for your personal belongings.

The city of Truro, along with many other charming villages are a stone's throw away, including a local farm shop and the popular pub, Heron Inn, which is roughly 50 metres from the doorstep.

Venturing outside of the village, maritime views can be discovered from the National Trust's Trelissick Garden, St Mawes fishing port or the wealth of local beaches, including Buoys Rock Beach.

For a family-friendly activity, aboard the miniature railways of Lappa Valley, support and immerse yourself in the charitable work of the Cornish Seal Sanctuary or relax in the 19th-century grounds of the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Attracting visitors year after year, educational and historical activities are also on offer, where you can learn about the local community at the Museum of Cornish Life, explore the only China clay mining museum at Wheal Martyn Clay Works or celebrate the innovation and artistic flair of Cornwall at the Royal Cornwall Museum.

Why not jump aboard the ferry to Falmouth for a day trip?

A ferry stop lies just paces away from the cottage, making it the ideal location for exploring this scenic area.

Surrounded by the history and beauty of the county, choose 4 Trenhaile Terrace for your family break.
