“Parking is a big problem otherwise everything was ok”

Parking spaces are available behind the apartment on a first come first served basis.  We appreciate they might not always be available so, for our guests’ convenience, we have provided alternative parking a level walk 300 yards from the apartment at no additional cost.  We apologise if you found these arrangements not agreeable, but parking is often a problem at popular Cornish locations for both residents and visitors alike.  As this was a return visit to Castaways for you, we do hope it will not stop you from booking with us again. The property

With fabulous views over the wide sandy beach at Marazion to iconic St Michaels Mount beyond, this contemporary ground floor apartment is a perfect beachside retreat.

Within easy reach of Cornwall's best known destinations, here you are just yards from the long stretch of sand and glistening waters of Mounts Bay.

The bay is a water-sports playground of sailing, wind and kite-surfing and paddle boarding, whilst the town itself has interesting shops and galleries to browse and plenty of pubs, restaurants and coffee houses. Venture across the narrow cobbled causeway to St Michael's Mount at low tide, or hop on the ferry to the tiny harbour, to explore the island with its pretty cottages, restaurant, shop and cafe all set against the beautiful backdrop of sea and sky.

Castaways is beautifully presented with a bright and stylish open plan interior.

From the sitting room, glazed doors opens onto a private terrace, perfect for morning coffee, lazy sun filled afternoons or pre-dinner drinks against the ever-changing seascape beyond.

The relaxed holiday atmosphere continues in the king-size bedroom where you’ll find a pretty window seat and en suite shower room with luxurious double cubicle.

The picture-perfect harbour town of St Ives with its many gift shops, galleries, restaurants and some of the UK’s best beaches is just a short drive away.

The dramatic open-air Minack Theatre, perched neatly atop the granite cliff face jutting out to sea is a fascinating place to visit, whether you are simply sight-seeing or watching a performance against one of nature’s most spectacular backdrops.

Whatever you choose to see it all, or simply take it all in Castaway is ideal for a perfect Cornish holiday.
