“Just returned from a lovely week at Stones Throw, which is aptly named as its virtually on the beach.”

A proper beach, thats a bit rocky in places, smells great, is covered in seaweed, heaving with rock pools, has stunning views and is a great place to walk the dog, as it doesnt get as busy as the stretch of golden sand, that runs the other side of the causeway, for miles. I even saw a seal on this side! Angus (Border Terrier) loved it and is sulking a bit now were home. The cottage is fab. So pretty and comfortable and warm. Such a lovely base to relax in. I even saw a seal on this side! Angus (Border Terrier) loved it and is sulking a bit now were home. The cottage is fab. So pretty and comfortable and warm. Such a lovely base to relax in. We slept well and enjoyed the veg for sale right outside the front door, fresh from the local allotment. Lots of great places to get eat and drink in the village, without getting the car out. We have an old Merc and we managed just fine with the parking, which is a bit tight, but dead easy when you get the knack. Dont reverse in!...swing in nose first. 5 stars from The Thorntons. Our teen said to mention the wifi is very good!
