The property

Lying in the quiet village of Mawnan Smith, 4 miles from the hustle and bustle of the martime town of Falmouth, lies this heart-warming escape, Gardener’s Cottage.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the cottage overlooks 14 acres of beautiful private gardens belonging to Carwinion House, this pretty retreat offers a lovely place to families and friends to call home while exploring Cornwall.

The front door opens into the kitchen, offering several appliances to assist in the preparation of home-cooked meals, along with a dining area for mealtimes.

Look forward to unwinding in the sitting room, complete with TV for entertainment, while the bold artwork complements the theme.

Each bedroom has been carefully furnished, offering choice of super-king-size, king-size and a twin, providing a variety of sleeping arrangements.

Wake up feeling refreshed and hop in the shower for a good start to the day, before taking your morning coffee outside to listen to the morning calls of the birds.

A secluded woodland footpath leading to Porth Sawsen Beach can be accessed via the courtyard at the rear of the cottage and also within walking distance are, Grebe Beach and Durgan Beach and the sandy beach of Maenporth is within a 5 minute drive.

A little further down the coast lies the Helford Passage Beach, so you can visit a different one each day!

Make your way into Falmouth, a much-loved town famed for its fascinating maritime connections, which can be explored at the National Maritime Museum, or learn about different eras of history at Pendennis Castle, an artillery fort constructed by Henry VIII.

Take yourself further afield to enjoy the Lizard Heritage Coast to see the National Trust owners Lizard Rangers, or continue along to Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, considered one of the most photographed and painted locations in Cornwall.

You may also fancy taking a boat out to sea from Helford Creek, or visit Paradise Park to see an array of exotic creatures.

However you choose to spend your holiday, return each evening to Gardeners Cottage, recharging your batteries for the next adventure.
