    “This was our third visit and have another booked during October, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

    It’s a quiet tucked away location, relaxing, with an excellent dog exercise area. Mawnam Smith village is less than mile away, we regularly walked into the village, excellent cafe (Sampys) also the nearby Red Lion Pub offers excellent food. The owners of the Long House have catered for absolutely everything, every possible kitchen utensil is included together with a wide range of matching white crockery. Highly recommended.

Set beneath tall vaulted ceilings with Velux windows, the spacious open plan living room is light and airy.

Expect superior comfort with a cosy wood burner, big sofa and arm chair, a thick wool rug, plump scatter cushions and a soft warm throw plus plenty of fun extras including coffee table books; mega screen Smart TV with internet television service, DVD’s for adults and children and good old-fashioned board games.

Boskensoe Barns

Head to the sought-after village of Mawnan Smith and along an idyllic country lane to this cluster of five boutique barn conversions (including Pig House ref: 966634, Mill House ref: 965738, The Stable ref: 966635, and The Long House ref: 966636, positioned in a pretty courtyard, and The Granary ref: 1040635 ), all surrounded by mellow countryside setting on a working farm. Guests will love the luxury of this location which combines the simplicity of rural life with easy access to the South Cornish coast path and beaches. The beautiful creeks and woodlands of the Helford are under a ten minute drive. You can hire a motor boat, kayak or dinghy, explore the Helford Passage on water and stop for a sumptuous seafood lunch and a refreshing hand-crafted Cornish ale at the waterfront Ferryboat Inn. For traditional beach days out, the beautiful sandy cove at Maenporth is a short drive away and perfect for swimming, sun-bathing and rock pooling. A string of golden beaches and fabulous Falmouth, with its good pubs, restaurants, art galleries and shops, are located a little further along the coast.
