Note: Check-in time 5pm.
Note: Construction on a small ‘bat house’ (4m x4m x2m high) is due to start from the 10th August 2020 and will last for approximately 7-8 weeks (until early October). The ‘bat house’ will be located to the rear of the Long House and although there will be no visual disturbance, some of the work taking place may be audible from the garden of Mill House. Work begins from 9am until 5pm. Whilst it is not anticipated this will be of a level to detract from the enjoyment of your stay, as a goodwill gesture the owner would like to offer a 10% discount for any potential disturbance.
Note: Work will begin from September 25th on a new barn conversion opposite Mill House which is anticipated to last until June 2021. The owners will be erecting a hoarding alongside the garden fence to help limit any visual and sound disturbance. The first phase at the end of September (anticipated at 3 weeks) includes the removal of the fibre cement roof and wooden inner frame. This work will involve the use of a loader and electric hand tools. The second phase of work (which includes the demolition of the ground floor and re-build of the new barn) will immediately follow on from late October. As it is anticipated there will be some disturbance due to the work, the owners would like to offer a goodwill gesture of 25% for any inconvenience. Please note that work takes place Monday – Friday only (weekend visitors will be unaffected) and no work will take place over Christmas or New Year.
Note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the communal play and BBQ areas are temporarily closed for guests safety. The owners are currently following government advice and regularly review the situation with a view to reopening once they feel it is safe to do so.
