“Cottage too cramped, outside area untidy, no nice view from windows and definitely no suitable for pets.”

    - Mrs Rowden, October 2020

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We were sorry Seagull Cottage was not suitable for you. The property is a spacious cottage suitable for 4 people with a dining room to seat 6, a lounge with seating for 5 and 2 bedrooms sleeping 4, this is the first ever comment received stating it is cramped. The website describes the property very specifically. The location is also great, only 50 metres from the harbour and less than 2 minutes from the local pubs and restaurants. Whilst do not describe the property as having direct views of the harbour it is based in a very quiet location. You are the first to suggest the property is not pet friendly, having had many 4 legged visitors who all enjoy the park for late night walks less than 2 minutes away and the long headland walks up the valley towards Helogan where they are able to be let off the lead. Had we been notified of any issues with the outside area during your stay we would have been most happy to have tried to rectify the issue for you however without knowing the full details we are unable to comment further.
