Moor2SeaCornwall Cottages, so called because they are roughly equidistant between the beaches and the moors, are three beautiful, stone-built, cottages nestled in a rural location near the village of Tideford. These well-presented cottages would make the ideal base for exploring the stunning Cornish countryside, perfect for a group of friends or a couple's getaway. Great for walking, cycling and bird watching enthusiasts alike. Each property houses an elegantly dressed open-plan living area, complete with a cosy sitting room, a formal dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a coffee machine and microwave, and two cottages feature wood burner fireplaces. Additionally, each dwelling boasts comfortable bedrooms posing delightful views of the surrounding countryside. There is a separate utility building on site, providing access to a washing machine, tumble dryer, additional freezer space and somewhere secure to store any valuable equipment you might bring (bicycles, golf clubs etc). It's somewhere to take off your boots and sandals and dry off before entering the cosy confines of your cottage. The village of Tideford plays host to several amenities, including a celebrated butcher serving hot Cornish Pasties, and a traditional pub, the Rod and Line Inn with great food and a lively music scene. The world famous St Mellion golf course is just six miles away and Plymouth - great for shopping and eating out - is a twenty minute drive. For days out, try the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary near Looe or, for the more adventurous among you - Adrenalin Quarry, featuring one of the longest zip wires in the UK. There is also Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Trematon Castle, Cotehele National Trust and Port Eliot on your doorstep. Beaches feature Kingsand and Cawsand and Whitsand Bay, which the cottages are named after. These cottages offer a tranquil base, perfect for peace and quiet, romantic weekends, or coming together as a family. If all cottages are booked together they sleep 8 in total.
