“A lovely property in a quiet and pretty location.”

The barn is warm and bright, very clean and spacious and pleasantly fitted out. The grounds are very pretty too, and well planted, and there's a great dog walk along the side of the golf course accessed by a private gate for Pennance residents. The deck has a lovely view of the Golf Course but needs a jetwash as it's very slippery as you walk out of the back door. An airer to dry washing is needed too. We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend. Attending to the two suggestions ...

This unique and aesthetically pleasing wood clad home enjoys a peaceful rural position, yet is conveniently placed for enjoying all that Falmouth has to offer, ideal for a family of all ages and tastes.

Admire the setting of the small cluster of barns at the end of the private driveway before entering inside the dwelling, where there is a seamless blend of style and comfort.

The kitchen comes well-equipped with a range of quality appliances, certain to encourage the chef of the group to rustle up family-favourite dishes, with a dishwasher and washing machine so that you barely have to lift a finger whilst on holiday.

Concluding the ground floor interior is the sleek living/dining room, a bright and spacious room that benefits from overlooking views of the golf course and double doors, which can be opened up to allow a refreshing breeze to filter in.

Get cosy on the plush sofa and tune into the Smart TV or browse the selection of DVDs to relish in a family-film night at the end of a bracing day.

The first floor of this exceptional accommodation comprises of three well-presented bedrooms, the master suite boasting a sumptuous king-size bed with an en-suite shower room and captivating views, whilst bedroom two offers another king-size bed and the third bedroom boasts a single bed with the same views looking out across the golf course as the master bedroom.

To the exterior at Maple, there is a superb decked area with a south-westerly orientation, table and chairs for alfresco dining and a barbecue for rustling up something tasty.

For the evenings where you do not feel like cooking, head into the centre of Falmouth, where there is a collection of waterside restaurants, traditional pubs and the famous Rick Stein's Fish and Chips, in addition to plenty of things to see and do.

Whilst here, choose to brush up on the local history with a visit to the award-winning National Maritime Museum with its great observation window so that you can see what’s happening underwater; explore the beautiful Pendennis Castle or meander through the internationally renowned Trebah Garden.

During the summer months, look forward to heading to one of the four beaches within the area, each one boasting opportunities for surfing, snorkelling, sailing and lounging in the sunshine, or if you are feeling more active, don your walking boots to walk the South West Coastal Path.

Slightly further afield is the quieter town of Penryn with its olde-worlde cobbled streets awaiting to be explored, or spend the afternoon in the bustling city of Truro, where you will find further places to eat and drink, as well as cultural and architectural delights to marvel at.

With all of this and much more to enjoy, make Maple your temporary home as you explore this corner of Cornwall.
