We simply love the approach along the winding woodland driveway which serves the handful of private residences within this former landed estate.
With ample space for six in three bedrooms, this clever, modern and tasteful conversion has a central sitting room with comfy sofas and a warm and welcoming kitchen/dining room with French doors to the decking, overlooking the valley.
The accommodation is all on one level although there are a few external steps to negotiate before entering the property.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a super deck and large lawn.
The National Trust own much of the heritage coast path in this area so pack your hiking boots and head out to discover this stunning landscape. For a traditional seaside experience head to Bude for a wide range of activities including kayaking, angling, coasteering and horse riding; all to be followed by the obligatory ice creams and pasties of course.
Closer to home, there is a good convenience store and a pub within 2 miles of Ogbeare Barn and the within 9 miles the pretty market town of Holsworthy has good amenities including a Waitrose supermarket, shops, swimming pool and a golf course.
