However, it was rather dark inside and the bathroom had several issues. The taps dripped , the mirror light would not switch off and the towel rail did not heat up. The cottage had plug in air fresheners in every room except the bathroom. These are problematic for anyone with breathing problems. My wife has very mild asthma but became very breathless and wheezy after one night. She had to increase her medication greatly and felt quite unwell. It took two days before we found the air fresheners and unplugged them and her breathing problems disappeared after airing the property.. Were these necessary in such a clean property? I would suggest that these are removed. Apart from this we enjoyed our stay very much.- Mr Tebworth, June 2021
“The cottage was clean.”
It was fairly well equipped. It is convenient for the harbour as it’s only about 150m away from shops and cafes. It was a bit gloomy though as it backs onto a steep hillside and faces a car park. The allocated parking space is small and only suitable for a small to medium sized car because it extends over the entrance. A pleasant little end terrace house.- Mr Roberts, September 2020
“Perfect location for both Padstow and other attractions and beaches.”- Mr Eaton, July 2020
“Great, well equipped cottage in a wonderful position with parking in the heart of Padstow.”
Ideal base for Cornwall also short 2 minute walk to Padstow and Rock Ferry. Everything you need is in the cottage, it's sparkling clean and really quiet despite the proximity to the village.- Mr Smith, March 2020
“Wonderful location and extremely well presented, scrupulously clean.”
Excellent attention to detail, the provision of a pint of milk was most thoughtful and welcome. We will definitely be looking at a regular booking- Mr Gray, November 2019
“Ideal location close to all amenities, plus parking, and, exceptionally peaceful, given that the property is within 50m of the harbour.”
Extremely well equipped cottage. Everything necessary for a great holiday. Superb walks from the doorstep and easy access to Rock and Polzeath via ferry.- Mr White, September 2019
“Great, quite location only 3 minutes walk from Padstow Harbour.”
The property was very clean and contained everything week needed. I would recommend this property to a friend. But and it is an important but, parking is very tight. If you have a large car you may block the car parking area used by other residents.- Mr Mason, July 2019
“The cottages was accurately listed and delivered on all counts.”
Amazing location and met our needs fully.- Mrs Evans, May 2019
“Parking a bit tight for a larger car.”
Also it would have been more comfortable if both rooms had double beds as when I booked the cottage it said both rooms were doubles. Apart from that the location was spot on and myself and sister had a fab weekend. We will most definitely be booking with Sykes again. Thank you- Mrs Collingwood, March 2019
“Lovely house, just approx 100mtrs into Padstow.”
Padstow is a lovely place to relax.- Mrs Efford, March 2019
“Perfect cottage in a great location but the parking was a problem.”
If we had parked in our space other cars could not get in or out of the parking area. There is only really room for very short cars as there are 8 allocated space in front of the three cottages.- Mrs Phillips, December 2018
“Lovely, cosy cottage in an ideal location.”- Mr Morsman, December 2018
“Honeysuckle cottage was in a quiet peaceful area of Padstow just a few minutes walk to the harbour and even closer for local shops.”
Plenty to do in the area if energetic, we hired cycle and adult tricycle to explore the Camel trail, great walks too. Despite the very hot weather the cottage stayed cool- perfect!! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.- Mr Hulbert, July 2018
